I remember when the LS1 was new and everybody talking about how well the stock exhaust manifolds flow and how theyre equivalent to short tube headers.
I think the stock headers on the 5.0 are probably a better comparison to shortys but will still have good gains going to long tubes.

Sad ls1 owners lol. Stock ls1 owners that dont race maybe. But a simple bolt on ls1 can run 12s easy. Its going to be good but ls1's and gm product always is on top. Thats why the ls1 still out runs all the mustangs today. Damn ford is trying to beat somthing that came out in 97..lol i find that funny

The terminators were nice but they were overkill. Ford had to put a blower on it to stay close to the ls1! The only way mach 1 ones would stay close was to over gear it!

I have been paying attention, I didn't belive what they dyno to me it was hype. Now there is a vid that I do belive he put down 370 stock. The reson I said 350hp is because stock ls1 dyno 300 to 330 bone stock. The 5.0 got beat by a stock ls1, it must have 300+ after break in 350. Now I see that evolution was not liying. I just beat a 2010 shelby 500, is the 5.0 faster, nope. But I happy that it looks to be true what the 5.0 can do. Now we have comp, before it had to be a cobra or a shelby for some comp. If was just a gt no comp what soever.

Yeah, but you don't trap 119mph with some control arms and bigs/littles. The car is obviously powerful.

I've been trying to figure out what's so difficult about turning the traction control off, you press a button, and it goes away. But after reading the post about the dyno, I see that what he's referring to is the "torque management" that's built into the stock tune, just like every other 05-10 Mustang had! It senses wheel spin, and/or approaching red line rpm's, and actually starts to close off the throttle even if you have it floored. That can be easily turned off with a handheld tuner.

Anyway the gt should be faster but its still a drivers race. I have seen the new gts range from 12.8 to 13.3. Most ls1's will run those times, and since most are not stock a lid/catback should really level the playing feild. Time will tell. I say we come together and fight the evil rice burners

For someone that was dead wrong about the new 5.0, you're still acting cocky.
Don't you have a long list of apologies to make?
One posted in this same forum running 12.6 or 12.7s. No stock 4th or 5th gen has went there as far as I know.

problems with that video:
1.) loud music right off the bat
2.) you drive around like a ******* tool with your hood up
