For someone that was dead wrong about the new 5.0, you're still acting cocky.

Don't you have a long list of apologies to make?

There is a vid on here of a stock ls1 going 12.6, and a 10 SS going 12.5. Who knows if they are really "stock" hahah

Where is the exageration? LS1 fbody in the 12s with skinnies, gears and all boltons? hope not!

You should know better about the 5th Gen; its faster than you think. Consult the slip time list on 5th gen forums..

Probably not, because

A) The ls3 has roughly ~1.2 more liters of displacement

B) 4V motors do not see big gains from cam swaps

Did you seen it, or saw it btw?

Its funny how the hp/liter is a stupid argument either way; when its to be positive plp say:''yeah, its making 415hp with only 5.0l, so its way better than a 426hp 6.2l''
But when its time to go with excuses:''Well its normal, its only a 5.0l, so it cant reach the same hp level given the same mods''.

We dont even know yet what will happen. Maybe this car is going to be total beast with cams. I'm sure it'll be better than the last Ford 4.6l.

Yeah i seen it.. kept going up everytime tuner was messing with it. But the ls3 hit from 480rwhp to 500rwhp with a cam swap and suporting mods.

I think it would be a bit unrealistic to assume that every new 5.0l will be a 119mph car with boltons. A capable 119mph car, yes, if theres no **** like a gutted interiorm that the shoop did and didnt tell.. Let us see what this car will do on a daily basis with the average Joe. I'm not saying this all bullshit; I believe this shop, but maybe its the ultimate bolton car from a very reputable shop if you ask me.

Seems about right; I have the same dyno and I've beat 118-120mph cars(very very close race and I'm 3450lbs full weight, no skinnies and 3:42). Have I done 11s timeslip at 118-119mph? Hell no, my car is not setup for the 1/4 at all like this 5.0l.

1) The blower argument is childish and quite ricer.
2) If you knew anything about Mach 1s, or had ever driven any 4V Mustang, you would know that 4.10s/4.30s, and even 4.56s in some cases is not "over gearing" it.
Just dont do any freeway driving with those gears! Why would I need to drive a four valve? I got a kick *** ls1!

The new 5.0 is a nice car. You ford guys should get over the 4.6's past! They needed boost to compete with the ls1 but it is different now. Hats off to ford.

Their car isn't even near full bolt-ons. I can see full exhaust/geared/tuned cars running 120mph+ on a regular basis.

Are you sure you aren't a woman? You can't even admit like a man when you have blatantly lost an argument, and you are now just sounding even more childish.

Are your sure your a man? I gave the 5.0 credit and told the truth! The 4.6 was a joke when they debuted in the mustang in 1996. It was underpowerd and the lt1's ruled! When the ls1 debuted it was really lights out for the 4.6. The only respectable 4.6 was the SUPERCHARGED engine in the terminators. Get over the past and celebrate the future!

With what gears? Have you ever driven a mustang with 3.90, or 4.10 gears? What was your experience with them. Please, tell us about it..

With 4.30s most machs, gts, cobras run about ~3k at 70 mph. Correct me if I'm wrong.

3000 grand is kinda high if you do a lot of freeway driving. Whats your experience with a mustang?

Oh, I don't have very much with them at all. A family friend has a sn95 which I've ridden in frequently. But besides that, very minimal.

But I'm not making claims about them like you are. There's the difference.

Those gears like 4.30 4.56 are probably good for 1/4 action. I just think they might be too much for daily driving. The last mustang I drove was a '96 Mustang cobra.

I dont agree on this one. But keep dreaming. On a Regular basis, not gonna happen. I dont see it. Like I wont believe every boltons 10'' SS are going to run 120mph on a regular basis. But you can see the 10'' SS proved to be faster in most mag test overall.

There is a difference between 12.9 and 12.6. Both in the twelves? Sure. But we all know how much of a distance .3 seconds in a car makes.

I am talking consistent times.
