Default Rematch v4 LS3 C6 vs Supercharged Mach1 x2 *Videos*

cammed LS3 vette vs SC Mach1 vs SC Mach1

Ran the Eaton supercharged Mach1 again tonight. He was meeting a buddy with a white Mach1 with the same setup except forged motor.

Tale of the tape:
  • Red Mach1 safe to say AT LEAST 480rwhp
  • White Mach1 470rwhp (before lower compression same boost)
  • My car did 487 in the heat like this.
The red mach1 (Michael) added an electric water pump since the last time we ran.
I bumped my rev limit from 6,500 to 7,000 since last time we ran.

The camera is mounted in my back window. You can hear the honks when we start.

Round 1:

Round 2:

Seems like the white Mach1 held its own against the red one but I have to say both cars would be faster if it wasn't almost 90 degrees at night.

Actually, heat (which is the major player in DA) affects N/A engines alot more than F/I engines: That's why the calculation correction for F/I engines is usually half that of N/A cars. If they doubt it, run them on a 60 degree day and we will be seeing them in the that rear view camera a gear sooner!

Good races and video! I've been tempted to mount a camera on my speaker deck but figured my car wasnt fast enough to justify that kind of cockiness. lol But a cammed LS3 Vette can get away with it!

I know my car from a hot Texas day 487rwhp to a 60 degree day 495rwhp gained a good bit.

Well I've already ran him 3 times. When I had the camera in the side window before you couldn't see but the first few seconds of the race.

Very nice.

Is that mongoose04? If so, I'm confused as to how it can be safe to say at least 480rwhp?

You pulled him pretty dang hard man. Looks like he gave up and let off in both vids.

Yep same guy.

Safe to say because he made 462rwhp at 6,200.. power had not peaked. he shifts at 7k. + He's added 2 or 3 things since that dyno.

Gotcha. ONly the EWP was listed and I know those don't add 20rwhp.

Also, those were STD numbers....not that dyno numbers are the end all be all.

again, nice vids.
