So a little turbo colt beat my LS3 *Vid* Apparently it traps 122. He gets nice jump and I chase but props.. a little car like that you do not expect to be that fast! I bet fair fight he'd pull me up top.

It only weighs 2,600 lbs. Not sure how much power he's pushing but enough to make it something I don't want to be next to at high speeds. That little car wasn't meant to go that fast.

Probably either a full 4G63T swap or a 4G61T with a 4G63 head.
My best friend has got the 61/63 combo, and even with the stock TINY turbo, at 20psi it makes over 270 to the wheels.
(Stock bottom end, basically just EVO 8 injectors, a Walbro pump, and an SAFC).
Fun little car.
I bet the car in the video makes a bit more than that.

InsomZ: I hear ya on not wanting to be next to something that unstable at high speeds! Been near taken out enough times from guys that couldnt drive there torque steering FWD turbo cars. BUT, at higher speeds is the only place you could expect to walk that tiny little square car!
Never thought I would see a fast Colt.... never ever....

Wonder if that means he was running meth or race gas and higher boost then? His car being maybe 500lbs lighter than the C6, would most likely need to be making high 400's to pull him like that!

Maybe it's just because I'm used to the DSM community, but fast Colts aren't really THAT rare, especially with some of them coming with turbos stock (4G61T), and the 4G63 being a fairly simple swap.

Nice video, that little bugger moved out! I'm gonna have to guess that it traps higher than he said as well. Probably a case of him giving you the last trap speed he has and hasn't been to the track with the "new mods" yet.

I love cars like that. Being the underdog is awesome. We all thought I'd need to spray him but I got him on motor. Nice guy.
