last night i was getting on the highway following my friend with the gt. we were going about 40 when we both punched it. we got up to 120 and well he didnt pull on me at all i was very very surprised.

he has an 05 gt with a whipple running, his car dynoed 460 rwhp.
my car is an 03 z51 with a vararam.

i know boring story but thats all that happened. i dont know if the story would be different from a launch or different speeds... guess ill have to find out

Your lighter that's why. Race him and find out if he was just messing with you or you really might have a good chance

well OP is pushing low 300s rwhp(guess)........ 100rwhp+>400lb disadvantage.....he should have walked out pretty good on you.

is he an auto or manual, that could play a huge roll in a roll race.

my car is stock with the exception of a vararam. so i would say low 300's he has dynoed 460rwhp his car is a 5speed im not sure how much boost may 8-10#?
he said he was really impressed how i hung in there with him he was wide open as well as me... im thinking it was just a fluke though, for it to be as close as it was. i think he should have pulled away, find out next time i guess.
