Default Just ran a silver 03/04 Cobra

He had silver BBS wheels on it. After the run we talked a little and he said he had a pulley. I asked what size his pulley was and he said "I don't remember, I did it back when I had 20,000 miles". When we ran I didn't hear no pulley whine and it sounded like he had a stock mid-pipe with exhaust. Anyway on to the story... I saw a silver Cobra on the freeway and I get behind him. I noticed he was glancing at my car in the mirrors. I pull next to him and we instantly hit it. It was about even until 4th where I started to walk away from him. I had to beat the driver or he lied about being pullied because like I said I didn't hear any whine at all. I know my car is loud, but I'd definitely hear a whine if it was pullied

Oh, I know... I stated that because when they're pullied its a lot louder. I have a few friends with 03/04 Cobra's and I know quite a bit about them (I have wanted one since 2003).

What are your mods?

Did he just drop back when he shifted? Maybe the car just isn't running like it should.

When I hit 4th I started to walk. By the time I had about 1/2-3/4 a car on him he let off

upper pulley+tune+catback will usually dyno anywhere from 430-450rwhp.

Upper pulley + tune, intake, catback makes 450-480rwhp actually, everyone who has an 03/04 Cobra has an intake because the power increase from intake alone is sick on those cars. I had an 03 with a JLT cold air, and remember after the install the car felt so much different, only thing that shocked me more was after I pullied it.

depends on the dyno and weather conditions. My 03 made 446rwhp with catback, pulley, and tune. and to say EVERYONE has an intake is a little bold. My brother's 04 cobra made 452 rwhp with the same mods + a JLT intake. (same dyno). The tuner I went to said CAI wasnt that big of deal, so he just replaced my stock filter
