Beat an '04 GTO w/bolt-ons I was driving home from work a couple days ago, minding my own business, when I noticed a black '04 GTO come up behind me. We made our way through traffic, finally getting a clear stretch of road. The GTO got alongside of me, and we slowed down to 55 MPH. I downshifted to 3rd, he gave three honks, and we took off. I put half a car on him by the end of 3rd, shifted into 4th and continued pulling. By the end of 4th I had over a car length. Shift into 5th and run up to 125 MPH, and I've got 2 car lengths on him. We shut it down, and I cruised along waiting for him to catch up. He drove slowly, though, only pulling alongside when I had to get off at my exit. I gave him the thumbs up before I exited, though. He had a passenger with him. The car had a cat-back, possibly other bolt-ons.
