Another Ford Kills a Chevy!
hahaha!! Got ya attention? Since I can never get any races with my Camaro anymore every now and then I get a little racing in with my truck. LOL. I recently traded in my 2007 F-350 for a maxed out 2010 f-150 FX4. A guy I work with was telling me the day bought it how his buddy just got an FX4 just like mine and how he smoked it with his extra cab 5.3L 2003 GMC Sierra 1500. I figured the story to be true since he is an extra cab, 2 wheel drive with intake, exhaust and a tune VS a 4-door, stock 4X4 truck. Well the other morning on the way home from work I wanted to see just how bad he was going to smoke me. I raced him in my f-350 turbo diesel a while back and got him pretty good but I had a Bully Dog programmer on the truck. So we line them up and on the third honk we took off. Now my truck is an auto 6-speed. Once it shifted I started pulling away hard. By the time my truck cut off at 100mph I was at least a truck and a half ahead of him. I was unsure if sometime might have gone wrong for him on that race so we decided to run one more time just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I beat him worst the 2nd time. lol.. This was not an attempt to make it seem as though my Ford truck is better than any GM. I know that my truck isn't the fastest thing on the road but I don't really get many races in my Camaro anymore so win or lose I am going to take what I can get and post it when I can.. Thanks for reading..

hahaha A kills a kill! Reminds me of when I was in California two weeks ago and when the shift was over, there would be literally dozens and dozens of races among the rental cars that every had.
For the record, only the rental V6 2010 Camaro could take my rental Ford Flex Limited V6. Hyundai, Chevrolet, Buick, Dodge Challenger and Charger V6's, etc. went down to my pimp mobile. The Funky and not so little Ford Flex held it's own amazingly well!

Raced my buddies 2006 f-150 4x4 lariat 5.4L supercrew with my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab with the old 5.9L from about a 15-20 mph roll and we were pretty much neck and neck up to 80mph. He edged me out by a little bit tho. His truck is stock and mine has a cold air intake and catback. I have raced newer 4x4 chevy trucks with the 5.3's in them and got beat by 3-4 trucks to about 98mph. lol
anyways good kill. Anything can happen on the street.

Your right but now they are putting the A6 tranny in them and that seems to help out alot.. I've owned several Chevy trucks including a loaded out avalanch and this ford truck is built way better. Not liking the fuel economy of the truck but it's hard to beat the quality of it..

can't shine to bright.. A few weeks ago one of my coworkers that owns a 2009 GMC Denali busted my *** pretty good.. Got me by like 2-3 truck lengths to 100mph. Man that big *** truck rolled out. The only thing he has done to it was a tune and the truck ran a 14.01@99mph at the track.. Bad *** for a pretty much stock truck.. On the flip side he only gets 12mpg and has to run premium in it.. Imagine that fuel bill every month..
