Default took down a new SHO

pedaling it... lol tried to run on my street tires and it just wasnt happening actually got traction at top of first after it shifted to 2nd though it just didnt wanna hook. all kinds of pedaling and the last couple hundred feet it finally grabbed lol... we thought it may be a close run being on street tires...

anyway heres a vid. pretty funny listening to me try and get traction

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8pU3G5Yj4Q

i know its not an exciting street video filmed on the great streets of mexico but hey a kill is a kill...

Those tires are amazingly bad! Time for some serious street tires for your ride. That kinda poor traction is dangerous. And worst of all, the SHO almost came back on ya.

You may have gotten them wet or someone got some water on the track....look for the grove and avoid water. Big burnouts not needed..

yeah, so its not really that big of a mystery why u werent hookin for ****, i mean other than u do probably need to not run street tires. If u are on street tires, u did pretty much the oposite of what u should do, Never run through the water box or do john force burnouts, they will set u up for failure. Go around the water box, and maybe do alittle spin to get off dirt, but thats it. Funny vid though, bet the SHO thought he had some **** thier for a mminute. THose things look like freakin acuras.

wasnt a huge burnout but yea probably too big for street tires haha.. and i didnt go into the water. drove around and backed up just before it (they dont let you burn out up higher then where i did....) anyways 60 foot was a 1.87 not bad just no high rpm traction... haha

the car was stock as far as i know, atleast they claimed stock. He ran a 8.9 at 79mph so im assuming stock...

THAT all depends on what you call "street tires". Both my last tires (RE-01R 245's) and my current tires (Star Spec 265's) require a lengthy burnout to get warmed up. Of course they are autocross race tires... : Same traction as a DR but take longer to heat up and have stiff sidewalls.
