Default 300ZX vs. 1999 Z28 *VIDEO*

I figured I might as well put up a vid from the collection I have. I'll probably put up more when I get the chance. I've got plenty of vids from my buddy's LS1 whoopin ***.

300ZX with T28's at 15psi (pump gas) and an LS1 with 100shot and exhaust.

Don't flame TurboLaser for posting his vids here. I just communicated with him on another thread and he's cool. I'm sure he can teach us a thing or two about DSM's and other Turbocharged cars...

Thanks man. I have a lot of respect for domestics, so I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea when I put up a vid of a domestic beating an import. On the import forum that I get on we get vids of domestics beating imports so it's all good.

The group I hang out with is neither import nor domestic biased, we're just a group of guys that like to race. I'll be sure to put up as much vid as is applicable.

Nice vid. Looks like the TT didn't pull it off from a stop but from a roll that ZX was strong. Oh and welcome to the boards.

Nice vid man, I always thought the TT 300ZXs were all about topend, but he got a pretty good launch from a dig and killed the Z28 all the way through... was it an LT1?

Quick 300's? I never knew they existed. I think they are over rated nonetheless.

Super Mario - The Camaro was an LS1.

jruss - this was at RSI

DMNSPD - 300's can be fast if you want to make them fast. The problem is that like the 3000GT they are not the weapon of choice for most tuners because they require so much work to be quick IMO. It's easier to get a Supra and just make it BPU and kick *** on that.

yeah, if you ever racing out east let me know i will gladly buy ya a beer. My friend and i having been talking about a DSM project. I 'd like an early talon awd and do the thing up. I got my assed kicked by a white eclipse with 4 mt et streets last summer. I was at a race shop 2 weeks ago and a guy there is finishing a 750 horse eclipse. Is it true they use HYundia sonota blocks to build up motors?
