6 speed with 150k. it got pretty heat soaked waiting in line. the prelude isnt dyno tuned yet but yeah turbo'd and forged internals with a super rich map.

damn, my car over heating is my least worry.
seems like the my ls can idle for an hour in 100 deg and not ever get hot.

The older Preludes were 16/17s cars, so a 93mph trapspeed from a boosted one on low psi sounds about right.

My brother's honda will do 15.0's with a little single cam VTEC. Thats pretty bad if that thing is actually boosted. Any more info on it? Stock motor, swapped motor, PSI?

I was running an LT1 camaro one night at LVD that would do consistent 14.6's at like 94 mph. I lined up with him probably 3 times that night. Poor kid got his heart broken every time by my old 2000 firehawk, and I was running **** times myself that night. Seems like LT1's are hit or miss, or they need a driver mod.

well last time i was at the track, a guy was happy that he ran a 16.0 in his 98 sohc vtec civic coupe. he said he has been working to get it to that point, he was intake exhaust, idk what else.

edit: im sorry this may be my first time but unless your brothers car is turbo'd or gutted or sprayed, i have to call BS. a civic si wont run a 15.0 without some decent mods, and that has 35-40 more hp than a single cam, a sohc vtec aint runnin that.

Umm, LT1's generally don't have heat soak issues. Yours must have some larger problems at hand

Check out your opti-spark and water... if your Optispark is going out, that means your water pump is probably going bad too.
