Default 04 Modded GTO Vs 2010 Stock SS

Well here are some older videos that I have when a buddy I worked with wanted to run my GTO.

My GTO has dynoed as high as 430rwhp/390Tq. But I was on bald Nittos(showing plenty of metal). I knew after this race something wasn't right, and after found out that my fuel pressure was dropping due to a bad pump. Still very fun runs. Races are 2nd gear, 35mph, both have passengers, both are manuals. He has the LS3. You can hear my buddy in the 2nd one say that we got to about 140mph.

Good kills!

Probably not a good idea to race on (or drive on) tires that are down to the metal, though. The Camaro looked good too.

Good runs! Why are you racing on tires that show metal?

nice runs but I would have thought you would put 6+ cars more on him if you really make 430rwhp: heads/cam/ full boltons I assume?

The SS impressed me. He hung a lot better then any of the SRT8s... well most Ive raced a couple on Woodward that were modded up pretty heavy.

I know I shouldnt race on metal showing tires... but Im an idiot and couldnt resist when I saw him pull up that day at work. Until lunch I was shifting gears in my head, it was one of my first good race with the car.

I ran them until they literary popped. They were dinky 235s.. I am uprgading to a 285 (widened wheel) Cant wait to feel the new intake setup w N20.. still going to spin like hell, but oh well itll be fun.

Yea and it was going to have to be done anyway. It had a 110K on it, and at the time I didnt know that I was going to be spraying it soon. Walbro 255. Works great. My Tq and Hp went down to like 380rwhp and was all over the place.
