Default First race...first win z vs 5.0

I have a 93 z m6 with ss rims/g force tires....my friend has this 5.0 stock 6 speed...we wanted to try our cars out since we just bought them…we went behind this school in a empty street about a 1/8 mile long or so...i heated my tires up a little (practicing my launch) and we finally got to it... we took off and I spin bad all of 1rst actually when I finally caught grip he had half his car in front of me in second he had his bumper next to my fender ...in third i pulled up all the way and a little more...a soon as a got into 4rth i was about a whole car length in front of him...then I pulled out never pushing 4rth.......when we stopped to talk he said he was double clutching and that i barely got him...i thought well "shitt i burned half my tire out the whole first gear...plus i shifted normal" I shift shitty so with a lil more experience/less spin i should be able to take him out from even the take off...oh yeah now he wants me to join his car club....so yeah i got my first kill feels goooood...

I didn't know 5.0's came with a 6 speed.

Nice kill. But if it really was stock you should have beaten him by a lot more.

They don't...

I wonder if he realizes that double clutching is a certain way to downshift? Sounds like he's been watching too much F&F...

Nice kill

yeah, no stang, minus the 03 cobra has had a 6 speed.

and yes double clutching is from downshifting and rev matching when racing, which is more for auto xing not ****** drag racing.

oh well, nice kill man!

He's got it... I love when people use the double clutching thing. One kid I knew thought it was stepping on the clutch, removing your foot, and stepping on it again each time you upshifted.

Either get a light or learn the sound of your engine. If you pay attention to the way your engine sounds right before you shift gears you will start to recognize when you should shift with out looking down.

Why do I feel like I am in the TV series Kung-Fu? I feel like I should call him Grasshopper.

Well, if thats what the ricer community calls double clutching then, I guess they REALLY need to stop... That way they will shift "normally" and I guess not step on the clutch at all, and powershift there cars to the ******* grave yard... But then again, I wouldnt have anything to beat up on... I find double clutching a pain in the ***, but I guess, I just suddenly lose all coordination when trying to do it. Oh well, I just hold the clutch in and hit the to raise the rpm's before I let it off, which works kinda sorta almost the same way... at least it makes the downshifts cleaner...

Oh yeah, Jon, sounds like someone is in need of fullfilling their hourly pot fix...jumping on that guys *** that hard...

Also, Nice Kill
