Default 30th ann.ws6 vs GT500

Tonight I was cruisin on the freeway some where in Mexico when I rolled up on a red GT500 with white stripes.2005/2009 model, sounded stock and dude had a passenger,I also had a passenger. I rolled up to him at about 70mph and shot him some revs put it in 3rd and he took off.I knew it would be pointless to honk with a random freeway race so he got the initial jump but I reeled him in before I saw his fender and by about 110 or so I had put at least 4 car lengths on him and continued to pull.I let off and he stayed way behind me after that. This is the second actual race I had since I put the longtubes, ramair and lid, and gears with the new posi.sorry for the long read.I really need to get a f%&*n go pro hd.

What are all your mods to pull 4 cars from 70-110 on a GT500? Not calling bullshit until I hear your mods

I didn't say you were lying, by your original post it may be perceived that you only had LT's, lid, and gears, which is why I asked to make sure.

Good kill!

could have gone a bit past 110 at the time I was more focused on shifting at the right time considering my change of gears and lack of real seat time with the new set up.I imagine I have been in more races than the random person I ran into and like I said his car seemed stock.

I call BS on the 4 cars part not the win. No way you put 4 cars on a 470ish car RWHP that took the hit car in just 40MPH.

I was surprised myself.Who is to say he was in the right gear.He only raced me once and those were the results.I don't spend time writing a storie to bs with strangers over the internet ,just sharing with others.you don't have to believe if you don't want to,I was there in my car when it happened.470 hp is 40 more than what I got,it seems like a lot but weight can make a difference as well.I wasn't in his car to guarantee you he didn't miss a shift either.Considering the fact he immediately jumped out after I revved my engine, you might get the idea he isn't too used to racing.A lot of factors come into play when racing on the street or freeway, something most people on this site would agree with, but if you don't that is ok too.take care.

Some people can't judge distance for ****. OP, how do you measure the cars?

To me,
1 car= his front bumper at my rear bumper
2 cars= 1 car between my rear and his front

I could see it I guess, never know if he let off early when you are that far in front at night.

Jesus Christ. Are we really going to sit here and nitpick how to judge distance. The man said he got the GT500 by four cars, he didn't say he beat him so bad it caused a time warp. Good kill Op.

Thanks manalishi.I'm not surprised people call bs on this.gt500's are no joke but that doesn't mean they can't be beat.dude didn't let off till he knew it was getting bad because he would have fallen back a lot faster.I don't post a lot of stories on here but I have had more than my share of wins and losses and some or most of them just are not worth sharing.wssick I definitely know how to tell a distance of a car length.Next time I will get a yard stick and measure for the non believers!

Looks like some of you guys understand a heavy car can get beat and others want to believe I can't judge a car length. When I let off the gas a lil past 110 there a was a over a bus length in distance. Is that more feasible! Not one of those little yellow bus's either! The guy wanted to win he didn't let off the gas early ,and I probably pissed him off because he never came back for second's.I have nothing to gain from lying over the internet or lying in general.Believe it or not!I don't give a s$%t .no more responses on my part, you guy's have fun!

Wait! You pulled a 2007-2009 GT 500 by at least 4 cars in a 70-110mph race after he got the hit OK I'm going to have to raise the BS flag or maybe it was a Shelby GT or a clone or something. Beating a GT 500 by basically 5 cars in a race accelerating from 70 to 110 is huge. That's the GT 500's sweet spot with no tire spin. Last week I came up beside a Black Mustang GT with a HUGE cowl hood and Cobra badges and SHELBY letters on the trunk. I did some revs but I couldn't get him to bite.
