Default no one wants to play with me

Ok first attempt. I pull alongside a ricer with mission control A pillar fart can exhaust 6inch tach etc. I kept reving and taking off in short bursts and all he would do is look over. We pull over next to him at the light and my friend asks him if he wants to race. He yells no way dude. Then my friend goes what are all those gauges for. He muttles "for show" We laughed and drove away.

Next attempt. An LT1 Z28 pulls up next to me and is like sweet car dude. I ask if he wants to run for fun. He exclaims "Hell No!!!" Then he gives me the thumbs up and drives off.

Third and Fourth attempt. I pull alongside a lightning continuosly reving and using short bursts to entice him. He doesnt even look over at me. Then a Brand new white convertable C5 with dealer tags is in front of us. Immediately the lighting makes a huge effort to catch up to him. He gets next to the vette and slows down. I get behind the lightning and when they take off i stay on the lightnings tail. He pulls the C5, then I and the C5 simultaneously slow down once I got next to him from following the truck. I rev at the C5 and he just looks over smiling and shaking his head no. He gives me the peace sign and keeps driving. I catch back up to the lightning and get next to it and rev again. He still wont look at me and turns off at the end of the cruising point.

The only race I have gotten in a while was to some 80s turbo supra that I put about 5 car lengths from 35-70. This is getting very frustrating

What a ******* *****. He doesn't deserve to drive a Z28. It is okay if you don't want to race but don't be a fagg and give the thumbs down.

I used to race on the street like crazy over this past summer. I'd pull topend runs with my friend in his Mustang to 150mph and a bit over.

That all changed in Oct. when I get my speeding ticket for 81 in a 50... Now I hardly ever race on the street, I'll go for a roll every once in a while, but barely ever from a dig, and I will never race in an organized street race ever again... I guess 5 points can really make ya realize how easy it is to lose your baby...

I will have some track times March 3rd, though...

Tell us more about your Turbo setup. Not very common.

That Z28 gave me a thumbs up not a thumbs down i think you misread it.

Ya the turbo is pretty loud. I am only running 7lbs. My friends can hear it when I drive by their house with no boost at all. I dont have any cats and I have a cutout on the I-pipe. Basically the only muffler I have is the turbo. If you want more info on the kit just go to http://www.ls1motorsports.com and look at the induction for F-bodies.

Any times??? Nice car, and yeah, cutout plus turbo BOV psshhh is pretty freaking intimidating coming from a LS1 camaro SS... awesome car dood, and good luck on getting people tor race you. I will race ya!!! umm... now, that would be a complete and total waste of gas... I think i would have better on foot, then driving my car...

99, haha, dood, look at the quote you quoted... looks like thumbs up to me too, lol... I guess you had temporary sudden blindness or something. Oh well, it happens to the best of us...

I dont have times yet because i got the kit on right at the end of the track's season so I really didnt have time to run it. I have a couple of worn out piston rings and a vacuum leak and with those problems it put down 450rwhp and 560rwtq. I am hoping to get those problems fixed soon and be up closer to 500rwhp.

When I was looking for those races I was trying to be stealthy. I tried to idle next to the people and i covered up my boost gauge on the A pillar I guess when I entice them to race is when they get scared. If I dont entice them though then they never try anything with me. Its lose lose for me.

Ever since I got the turbo all I ever get from other drivers is "Is that thing supercharged?!?!?!?" And I hardly ever get any races. Oh well, its still a ton of fun.

Ha .... I wouldn't go that far. Just try to make it look and sound as stock as possible, that should get you more races. I think if you get the V6 badges, everyone that might be a good race would just fly past you.
