I was on my way home from work today when I saw a lowered integra going the same way I was going at a light that was just ahead. I get in the turn lane behind an SUV that is behind the integra. When the light turns green he turns and punches it. I decided to just hang back to try and hear it and because he was probably going 50+ in a 35 with heavy traffic. So I follow him a little more and he keeps his distance way ahead until finally we get to a light. I look at him and wave, he gives me a smile and a wave back. We start to go as the light turns green and at around 25 MPH he hits it and so I do too. I spin in first and a little bit of second and quit at about 70 (we are in a 55 MPH speed limit at this time). I had him by about a car and a half even though I was spinning. I slow down to a 45 roll and put it in 2nd gear... we are cruising when I signal him and let him hit it, I then punch it and shift to 3rd and let out around 95 with 2-3 car length lead. My mods are slp catback and a lid. (6 speed). I did not know his mods. I later turned off to head home and he shot me a wave as I shot him one back. Felt good. Thanks! Anybody in the lafayette area reading this?!

It was red with some white wheels. Really didn't look that bad or sound too obnoxious. His girl was in the car though and I sorta felt bad about that. I know my girl would get PISSED if I raced while she was in the car haha

Haha yeah I probably should have won but it was my first race in the new(er) bird and I have been driving a 6 speed for ooo a month? Because that's how long I've had her now haha moar mods and better driving would have helped me out.

I thought it would be better too but I have a ton of weight on him and I'm pretty much all stock. As far as mods go; I am putting long tubes on tomorrow!!! and then waiting til next summer to do intake/cam swap on her.

Whats up with that, Do you kids find it a huge issue to drive a proper car 'MANUAL' or something? **** if you can't handle a manual box you shouldn't be driving.

Obviously you havn't been racing for very long. If you are worried about the feelings of some other dudes girlfriend in the car then your car is way to slow to be racing in the first place. Hell when im about to race the only thing on my mind is "**** i hope i dont blow this bastard up or put it into a ditch".

o ok yea i kno him. i was actually just talkin to him like a week or 2 ago. small world lol.. he works in the stalls in the backhalf.. im full time so i work up front on the mainline.

Haha very small world... Did you just order some heads and stuff from a place down in texas? lol cause he was telling me about a guy he worked with who had a T/A that just bought a nasty set up and is waiting for it to get in haha
