Default 99ta vs built sti

First race of the year. The sti is fast, should be mid to low 500 awhp. We think he blew a head gasket on the second run though....

How so? it should make 500 awhp pretty easy. I make about 500 rwhp. and our weight is very close.... his car was faster I jsut out drove him..

I guess I expect them to run like lighter weight imports.

Not bad for your mods and weight and what not. Looks like you shifted better than he did.

I get what he's saying. I always expect the STi to lose when I see a kill thread involving them. It seems like they either don't have enough power, or when they do, the short gear ratios and bad shifts keep them from winning races.

PS: Props for putting up a good quality day time video! Great looking T/A.
