I'd be pretty damn pissed if I had to see that plate over and over and over again. And as long as the kid isn't deaf, he should be able to hear the damn honks and you leaving right after #3.
OP makes more power all over the board, and that Civic probably doesn't make over 400whp until 6k+.

Safe tune-up like the OP stated with 21 degrees and it will live for a very long time. I spray 250 on my stock motor minus camshaft upgrade (pushrods, springs, oil pump). It can be done you just have to error on the side of safety.
Redfire 03 - 600rwhp, spraying it and on a stock LS1 bottom-end.

as far as torque, I dont have a dyno sheet on my nitrous pulls because the printer was broke but I made around 640rwtq on a 150 if I remember correctly. I know 100% it was over 600rwtq..
Yes I have a 04 Long block with a ported ls6 oil pump, ms3 cam etc. etc. I had my tuner, tune my car to handle a 200 shot so a 150 is more then safe.
when I first tried my nitrous last night, it just blew through my clutch so I was worried my clutch wouldnt hold it, but it seemed to work out fine.
I am new to the whole sticky tire and traction thing. I just put the 12 bolt in this winter with the stickys, coming from a previous street tire, 4:10, 10 bolt setup. I am still not use to dead hooking on the hit, especially on a 150 shot. I hardly ever miss gears, and I missed 3rd last night, twice. The car just dead hooks and lifts so violently its throwing off my shift position that im not use too. I had my cell phone in my cup holder and when I first hit it in 2nd, from 40 my cell phone blew to the back of my car LOL

I also have my microedge set to spray .05 seconds AFTER every shift. I lift on every shift but having a slight delay in the spray after the shifts will help preserve reliability also.

Cool story and all but looking at some of the vids, you DID jump the honks on the 3rd video... And on the first video, you dont even hear them... Also you were letting off very quick... Turbo cars will usually play catch up....
Also, everytime i race someone their chicks always come a blatantly let me know how much they want me right then and there.

Ive got to agree with you Zyborg. It did look like the OP was jumping out on the civic to me. Also everytime you see the civic coming up at an alarmingly fast rate the OP gets off the gas.
Race the guy again and dont jump out or let off the gas quickly. You know. A fair race.
If I let off at 110 mph against the 10 differant Supras Ive raced I would have beaten 9 of them. Being that I stayed in it till 130-150 mph Ive only beaten 3 of them.
