Default First kill oin the 5.3 swapped 86 TA(03 GT)

Well, on the way home from the meet, i ran into a friend at a stop light in their 03 GT stang, when the light turned they got into it so i went ahead and stabbed the throttle, considering it was a low roll i thought they would jump out harder, but they didnt get anywhere and i left them pretty bad, then car still has a 2700 converter and 3.23s, so it is a dog till it hits 4500 RPM with the cam that is in it, i put it together for the future boost, so i was surprised, i am used to the 6.0 that runs on all motor allot harder so maybe it is just being used to the faster motor 6 speed with 4.30s, i will put some gas on the little 5.3 till the turbo is ready, till then, 3.73s and a 3800 converter are in the works to get it more aggressive off the line.

Just exhaust and col air, i am used to them having some great low end and thought it was going to handle me pretty bad, but again, i am still used to a car that tries to lift the tires on the street in first gear, LOL.

I agree. I personally like mine because they're so under-rated. People just think they all have 305's and are slow as *****

Hell yes.

It's one of those cars that I wish I had. Maybe one day...

They handle great too with some suspension work. American Iron baby!

Yea, there are so many that make that mistake of thinking it is a SBC with nothing special.

Allot of them stock handle well, it is a straight line and power that becomes a issue without sub frames and making stamped steel parts stress, LOL.

They shock the **** out you when have a LSX in them

When 5.0 was stock one messed with me to run..He pulled about 2.5 cars on me from 30-120..Talked to guy he had a worked LS2 in it. Said he was still working on it. What funny is had to believe him cause he pulled into same shop i was stopping at to get it tuned and stuff..I think it ended up making around 430whp..

Hell, the 89 RS with the 6.0 has so many kills under its belt with the LS swap it is retarded, it is the reason i tell the old SBC guys to ditch the old 350s and what not.
