He was more than likely spraying given your mods. I put a beatdown on a stock one at the track a couple weeks ago.

I guess im just having a hard time believing a basically stock '10 SS would be right next to a built LT1, given what I've personally done to them. But when I think about it again, 150 is a lot of spray, you're right.

Thats not hard to believe considering a stock 10 M6 is a 12 sec car and mild LT1 is a 12 sec car. Add a few bolt-ons to a 10 and its going to keep up.

you ls1 guys need to learn more about an lt1 and what different combos are capable of. le3 heads and a cc503 in a 355 is not considered mild or wild, but is not a high 12's car. it is a high 11's car on average. i guess if you own a ls then ignorance about any other car is standard. he is running stock 24# injectors which at 100% duty can only support 400 at the crank. anything over that and watch him lean out like crazy and LOSE power. so much fail in this thread.

Fact remains - maxed out fuel... he isnt making much power which means... we can all assume the new gen camaro was NOT running a shot. Don't be a dick, dick

never said he was running a shot. how am i being a dick for pointing out the ignorance in this thread? if this was a ls1 car all these guys would be pointing out the car was down on a lot of power. but instead they acted like it was the expected outcome for a heads and cam 355 lt1. a hotcam and bolt ons lt1 will run out of fuel up top and needs larger injectors. the guy was maxing the injectors out at 330 rw and the power dropped in the upper rpms. shitty to race without the right injectors? yep. the norm? nope.

i know this is off topic, but i was just wondering does your 10 SS feel quicker than your C5?

Thanks guys... Well i know i need bigger injectors but i am wanting to change the cam to a 306. I did feel the car to start feeling sluggish right about when i let the foot off the pedal. I know my car is capable of way more so im going to bring it out. Other than that thanks. Im going to try and hunt down this camaro to ask what mods he has for sure

A 10 SS is not a 12 second car. They have run 12's at certain tracks in great air. Where i race, they are mid 13 cars. Heads/cam forged LT1s are easy 11s all day. The only reason that car kept up was because the LT1 was running untuned on baby injectors.

A 10 SS IS a 12 sec car... and yes stock for stock the camaro was a little bit faster then my C5 vette ( from a roll ). The problem with the camaro is getting a good launch. Considering I have owned both LT1's, LS1's and now this camaro... I think I might know a little bit about what I am talking about! I love these guys that dont own or have any experiance with a 5th gen think they know what there talking about, what a car CAN do and what the driver can do are 2 different things.

I only ran my car once so far, 95 degree's out... car went 13.0's 111-112 all day. My first time racing a stick in 10 years and short shifting at 5,800... I was running 2.1 60 fts and the track was unpreped because it was dead. My car should run 12.80 or better pretty easy, I just need to get out there again and not ***** foot it and get some seat time. My only mod is headers, no intake or tune yet.

OP... good run, get it worked out and I am sure you will have a killer there. LT1 or LS1... I loved my Lt1, they dont get allot of credit but they can run! They also sound better

They are only a 12 second car at certain tracks in good weather. I dont care what you ran or what some others have been able to do. Where I race, bone stock 2010 Camaros don't leave the 13's no matter who the driver is.
