Default 10 SS takes out a terminator!

I wish I had vid... I ran a terminator in my 10 SS tonight, we had an awesome race and I took him by a car He had a pulley, tune, full exhaust and I am running just full exhaust, no tune or intake!

We went from a 20 roll, both hit and he gets a little spin and I jump a car pretty quick... I shift 2nd and he gains half a car and now he his at my door! I wind her out to 6500 and chirp 3rd and start to pull my half a car back... now he is at my back bumper... blower wining hard but he cant gain any ground! I shut it down at the top of 3rd gear about 115mph and take the win!!!!

We pulled over to talk, he was a cool guy and told me about his car... he said he runs low 12s and cant believe the how hard my car runs! I figure I was going to loose. That LS3 top end is some crazy **** when you can get a 6500 shift! Thats the first time I did that I got locked out the last time I tried!

good run.. How do you know it was pulley'd? It was probably a CAI, exhaust car... CAI's will make the Eaton's whine as well.

I came home all hopped up and happy over this and you guys are so quick to start bashing.. I dont know why I even bothered! I wish I had a damn video to shut you guys up! What ever it dont matter... I know what happed, and he told me his mods! He could not believe it either, I actually beat him twice! The first run was aborted because he had to shut it down for a car in front of us. But I did not count that race even though I was up a car in that race too!

I know its easy for most of us to judge but a pullied cobra could be anywere between 420-480rwhp anything higher is usually a ported blower give or take a little, since we dont know what size pulley or what type of tune he had. Your car meaning OP is probably close to around 380-390rwhp and with full bolt ons most likely low 400's but who knows and probably better taking it to the track. We know how dyno shops sometimes blow up them numbers, not all but some. Is it possible you beat him, ya its street racing, too bad no vid but thats the way it is most of the times unless you plan it out with someone you know. Either way good kill OP, the ABM is a nice color wish our dealer would've actually ordered more of that color when GM had the color available for 2010 only.

Nice kill. I will believe it.
I killed 2 s197s on way to ball game.

Then on way home beat a 10/11 GT500 from a 25 roll to about 100 having him by about 1.5-2 cars he said it was stock. He was in miss belief I was just bolt ons. I laughed and told him I made almost as much power as him and was least 400lbs lighter.

Then right after a 04ish mustang wanted some of me. He had gauges and all. But no boost. Walked away so bad from it was funny. Wife asked if that guy was trying. He wanted to talk. We stopped and did. His buddy called asked if he caught us. He said ya. To get *** handed to me by a 5.0 that also beat the GT500.

You can't take what people in srk section say seriously really. Most said what they did because they know the Ford boys would be in here blabering as usual. And now they are in here trying to say they beleived your story so they can try to look like they are not one sided

Glad you're all stoked up over it OP, nice kill. Just a word to the wise: those mods on a '03/'04 cobra usually equate to high 11's low 12's at the track, the same track where your mods will equate to a high 12 if you can launch well. However, they are severely prone to the intake air getting hot and losing a ton of power, along with all the usual "on the street anything can happen" stuff. Just don't mouth off to another cobra owner until you cam up.

Nice! That GT500 guy had to be very annoyed! Of course, those things mod even better then a 5.0 so all he has to do is match your mods level to leave you in his dust on a roll race.

You'd be surprised how many LS3 2010-11s put down 420-430 with bolt-ons.

Nice kill....Those cobras dont seem that fast to me..I beat the last 500 rwhp one I raced so bad that I felt like a puppy kicker...the 5th gens are pretty mean with just bolt ons. And Im pretty sure stock for stock a cobra and 5th gen are pretty close. You both added some power and the better driver took home the pride. Good kill OP!

I'll believe you won so good kill , should you have won? Not really that termi is probably making 450 at the wheels if he has the mods he said he does and your ss with no tune is max 420. That's a 30whp difference or more and your car is heavier. Maybe your just a better driver but with a good driver in the termi assuming it was running right it should have won pretty easy.

isnt the SS a few hundred lbs heavier? Im a chevy guy no doubt but for a newer heavy pig camaro beating a smaller cobra I wouldnt think this would happen?
Whats your car weigh just about 4klbs?
