98 Trans Am vs 00 Mustang GT No video on this one. Sorry. I have been wanting to race my co-workers Mustang GT for a while now. I use to hear his car from my house before I even got the job and it sounded mean as hell. It looks good at least.
We took turns riding in each others cars as we showed off a bit. He was happy about riding my my fireturd. His was a manny and mine a built A4. He has exhaust and intake, I have LT headers and intake. So after Our lil show and tell session it was game time. we both came out of work and I was right behind him turning onto the road and we were off. I told him I was gonna be behind him and told him to go. He did, to no avail. Pulled on him and few right by. I could hear his motor roaring as I flew by hm. got him again from a 40 roll he had a small jump and it was like kicking a puppy, I was gone.
98 TA vs 00 GT. No contest being mostly stock.
Edit: well to update the facts on the two cars. I have intake, Exhaust and Lt's. He has Intake and muffler, as far as he knows. He gave me some BS that it was a 5.0, I coreected him telling him it was a 4.6. For the longest time we battled the matter until I was gonna drag him out to my local car meets and told him not to tell a soul it was a 5.0 or he would get called out bad. real cool kid, don't want to see him banned in a way. Anyways, I've been wanting to race this guy for a while because he is the only fast car at work. I race a 5th Camaro all sup'd up, two turbo GTI's, a turbo Rx7, sup'd up G35, and a ton more. Nothing ment anything and to me wasn't worth posting.
It was fun and good to build a friendship. I am trying to get him to mod his car the right way and get him into the scene a little more as well as myself. I need someone on the darkside by myside.
A fact for you guys to crunch on, I bought my 98 Trans Am for 3k and he bought his GT for 4k. Eat on those numbers.

It makes me want to get a 2000-2004 V6 mustang, do an LS swap, and keep the exterior looking otherwise stock. Even better, if I could find one in "champagne mist" or some other granny color, I'd stick some stuffed cats in the rear deck and hand the thing to my daughter. Talk about messing with people's heads.
