Anyone wanna guess what the N/A bolt on 4.6 will run??? (new BS thread)
Well in 3 days it will be at the track. I like making these threads to see what people thing it will run. Last time I did most were close or dead on at the 13.2 mark. I haven't been to a drag strip in over 2 years and I don't plan to make many runs since I have the stock clutch still. I will be racing the LS1 that waxed me not once but twice but this time I will be more at home from a dig with some sticky tires. So lets see...first who are you betting on winning me or the LS1 again? Second what do you think we will run? Results should be posted Friday night or Saturday along with vids. Also special guest will be mrbigjeep with his almost stock 2v auto.

The sway bar will aid greatly in weight transfer but on a soft launch won't net much of a gain. Open the air intake, ice the intake in the staging lanes, drop the exhaust, drop air pressure to 20 psi and raise your RPM 500 out of the hole and if the Ls1 doesn't have any new mods. Monday morning at work should fun for you, shitty for him.

Yes it will be TNT and Atlanta Dragway is known for their lack of prep.
I've got a new filter on the way and I can't ice the intake, I have a huge scoop sitting on it. The LS1 does have realistically 40-50rwhp on me and probably 30rwtq on me.

I wouldn't worry about your clutch, if you are still on stock axle's i would tread lightly. But i just broke my driver side 28 spline moser axle on the street firday night so who know's. I will guess you will run a 12.7-12.8

M6 with close to all bolt ons I think. Headers, intake, Z06 trans which makes his gears close to 4.10s he says...340rwhp/350rwtq, I think his car will run at least 12.7 IMO. It runs hard that is for sure, don't know how hard he plans to leave the line tho.

As far as who wins, are we talking to the stripe or who has best ET? With cars that close, reaction time dictates the winner at the stripe. I think the cars will ET close because he won't hook as well even with the trap speed advantage. I will go ahead and bet on the Camaro though because I gotta stick with my F-body brethren.

You will be one of the firsts to know. I heard Walmart has a sale on tissues...better go check that out.
Yea I was wondering that. I've always had a problem with staging, bring the revs up to where I want, looking back up, and leaving on the right light. A 2 step should be in my future I think. So we will go by ET here.
