Impossible! Lol. Jk, I agree. The 5 th gen gets a bad wrap, most don't know about the fuse pull cause our e38 s wont default back to high octane timing without an ecm reset.
Were else can we get away with all this crap talk!

hmm my car must be a freak then. when it was stock, I pulled on both a new ss and an 03 cobra. granted both other car were stock, but on paper both other cars should have been slightly faster. also beat modded mkIII supra and a heavily built turbo rx7

As mentioned the 5th gen is just a tick ahead of the 4th gen stock for stock. You won't get raped but it will a take a few small mods (lid/catback) to get ahead.
They also tend to have something to prove so I get a run almost anytime I see one on the road. Better than the initial drag queen group that was buying them up. More car enthusiast out there the better.

I just run about anything...lmao. I think the 5th gen guys do feel like they have to prove something, we catch a lot of **** for the cars being heavy, and a lot of people think they are slow. It's nice to run into guys and talk to guys that realize its a cool car, performs good and aren't so quick to hate on it.

I owned a 4th gen that ran 13.2's stock and I don't think it would beat a 5th gen with a good driver. I also know that the 4th gens ride like crap compared to the GTO. Stock for stock, a 5th gen will beat a 4th gen. "PLEASE PEOPLE DON"T THROW IN THE ON 1 IN A 80 THOUSAND THAT RAN A 12.8".
