Default Weight/

I was just saying that the 4th gens are over 3400 without ANYBODY in it and the new Mustangs are over 3600 without ANYbody in them and the 5th Gen Camaro is a 4000lb pig and the SRT8 Challenger weighs over 4100 empty too. That is all. Take 500-1000 lbs off these cars and their performance numbers get a hell of alot better.

Call me crazy but I'd rather have a lower hp car that weighs less than a higher hp car that weighs more......less stress on parts.

i think auto 5th gens are 3950lbs and 6sp. are 3850lbs or so. I think the challenger srt8 curb weight is listed as 4170 for 6sp and 4160 for the auto. Though the srt8 insideline tested was 4257lbs http://www.insideline.com/dodge/chal...full-test.html

I am jealous. No matter what I do I can't defy physics like I could in a GTP.

Another time for sure, you should have come out though. Was a good time and jay was getting rowdy and dan was getting numbers from the waitresses left and right. Those stories may be slightly embellished

I was up for it for sure. But by the time I got home from work, I wouldn't have made it there til after 7pm. If it weren't for the weather I could've been there by around 6. Remember Will, I live way the hell out there.

Full tank of gas should get you close to the listed 3850lbs curb weight. His 4000lbs exageration wasn't too far off for the automatic powered cars though.
