Holy crap its like they dont move. I took the mustang out for a quick drive and happened upon a run of the mill fox mustang. He looked at me gave me a thumbs up and floored it. Well a lot of black smoke came out and he was off........ kinda. I was in 3rd at about 35 mph and just drove around him, there was certainly no need to downshift. Man I remember when those were fast. Definately nothing to brag about.

No clue. The guy who built it thinks itll go 11.70's with him in the seat but i just havent had time to get it go the track. there are only 3 tracks within 45 minutes of me. I pretty much got it done and stuck it in the garage.

Im only 3 years older than you lol. Im not smart enough to play with fuel injection. Most the ford guys in my area are old school guys so thats the direction that I went in. Although I would kill for something like your building. An eleven second daily driver would be freakin sweet.

LOL at the slow 5.0, that's how I remember them. But comparing to tody's tech almost all that old stuff is slow.
Roller conversions can get pricey.
Notch and I did a run once in his car when it was a bolt-on 5.0 where he made me stay in 4th gear from a 30ish roll. He rowed his gears.....I'll let him tell the outcome.
