Bolt on LT1 beats NEW Cobra
 

I was driving down the BLVD and see this new body Cobra with sime wiiide tires on the back. As I pull closer they look like 315's and that usuallyu means that they like to play. I get his attention by pulling even to him holding steady for a few seconds and then just hop on it from about 35-50 to show him that its not a stock Z. So we get a little room to play and I can tell he isnt as good as a driver as me but even after he hooked he wouldnt pull on me and I would actually pull on him slightly. It seemed kinda stock but the supercharger sure to shriek so who knows. We even caught a red light and we both spun pretty bad but as soon as my nittos hooked a lil I was gone. Sure was fun putting beating on one of those new Cobras. Basically beat Fords best. Haha the guy wouldnt even look at me after I beat him from a dig.

Thanks guys. I do take pride in my driving. I can powershift with the best of them. My dream is to race professionally. Oh yea my Z can definetly hold its own, Its an original owner, 55k beauty with every single option available that year. Its had synethetic in it ever since new.

Probably true but we can't be sure until the car actually exists.

see, Z06s are always geared for acceleration and the current ones do 0-60 in under 4. with another 100hp (guess) who knows, maybe 3.6? Straight line it should be close(ish) to 100 or so.

As far as fords new GT, wait until the Z07 comes out. Rumors are its a 427 small block with 500+ horses, Ford GT what? haha. But seriuosly they are 2 totally different cars. I wish GM would do some of the cool stuff that SVT does though.

actually the Ford GT is going to be a tough runner. on a chassis dyno in dearborn after the motor was broken in, it dynoed roughly higher then 550 rwhp. talk about seriously underrated. dont worry though, there is a few things being tinkered with on the Ford GT..... i need to keep my mouth shut...

Yea i heard that in preliminary testing it ran mid 11's at 130mph. Thats some sick shit. :barf: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, haha
