A couple of weeks ago an srt4 and now this time it was as if my car didn't move. I didn't know the BMW made such beast.It was a BMW f10. We were at 60mph roll and I downshifted into 2nd he honked it off and jumped at lease 3-4 cars before I was even into 3rd. We raced twice and everytime it was bad. After he whooped my *** he ran a gtr and pulled away from it also. This car sound like a Learjet. He had to be in the 600+rwhp range I'd say.

You never know what someones done to there ride - but some BMW's are pretty quick cars right off the showroom floor - some twin turbo only need slight mods to net amazing gains.

I had the pleasure of driving a 2011 M5 last fall. That car made me change my mind out BMWs. All the M series cars I drove before that felt like dogs.

those 08 m3s are not slouchs if they are real manual and not manumatic, I have driven every bmw. Even the x5 Ms are fast. The new m5s are 550hp

What does the cost of the car have to do with anything? The more it cost the faster it should be or something? So a fully loaded F-250 should out run a new 5.0 Mustang?

That is one sweet car and it would be pretty tough to beat even if you were modded. You'd need some juice or some kind of FI to keep up with that since it's a twin turbo v8. It is heavier by a bit, but with 560hp, most F-bodies would be losing here.

I've seen alot of guys who queef at the beginning of a race like "pfffft, this isn't going to be a match" end up getting smoked. Don't sleep on the M series cars. Hell, don't even sleep on the tuner favorites that are showing up like the 135, 335, etc. They can be serious. Not like Prius serious, as the latest SRK vid showed, but serious enough.

I've never seen anyone refer to an M car as a F10, etc.... Why not just new BMW M5?
Either way, IMO 2 things... 1, You may be completely out of that league at the moment... That would be like me racing a 2012 GTR in my header only 06 CTS-V. 2, You can always throw money into the go-fast parts.

I have no objections with the 2nd. Just be careful you don't keep getting reeled in like this. Might end up with - street credit. LOL jk dude. Either way, good death. If he pulled a GTR, (which is similar to pulling a Mustang 5.0 here on SRK) you were in for trouble either way.
