Default Stocker Wins?

Well I have my 02 z28 which is practically stock with no motor work at all. Its a custom x pipe exhaust with dumps and an intake with a slight tune from when i converted it to manual... Recently i started racing on the street from a 40 roll and ive been beaten everyone!!

Raced an Ls6 02 ss last night and beat him by a car!! and he knows how to drive so the excuse is out.. I raced 2 stage 2 GTI's making around 270whp and left them!! Also raced a work cobalt SS with 16psi and left him!!! And finally raced my friends Mach 1 mustang which had a full exhaust intake and a short throw and i left him like a bad habit but idk if he knew how to drive

Pretty much i have Full exhaust, intake, 2.73 gears thats it and i beat those cars... I seem to think thats impressive to beat an ls6 SS when i have barely any work done

Let me hear your feedback on this im curious to see what people think!!!

how do you know the 02 had an ls6 in it did the guy do a motor swap on it? a well driven ls6 swap car especially against your super high 2.73 gears should have dusted you..

Not trying to be a dick but a 2.73 gear with a manual in a stock Z28 isn't going to beat a LS6 swapped car that has a driver that can drive, hell a bad driver could still win.

Hes a friend of mine and he blew his Ls1 so bought an ls6 short block put 243's on it and transfered his Ls6 intake .. He just got it tuned so i agree it should have dusted me but idk ... There were three other cars following us that saw the whole thing... Im racing him again this weekend so ill get a good video this time

wait, was his an auto car with 3.23 gears? if so that 40mph start is the reason as it's a dead spot. Oh well, wins a win right?

Previous owner mods maybe? When you buy a used car, you truly never know what mods or rebuilds even had been done to it. I met a guy at the parts store last year who was in his 40's, nerdy looking and knew very little about cars, but he mentioned that when he bought his car new that within a year he had dropped a crate LS6 into it because he "wanted the extra hundred horsepower". If I bought it off him, I would never have suspected he did any mods because he didn't even have the free mods or even a lid on it otherwise.
