That poor Z28 was getting busted up by every damn thing. The ole G8 seems to pick up very well on the jug.

Nice races.

Tough day for 85IROC, but that's racing sometimes.

On a side note, LMAO at that G35. I hope there's a good reason he's only running 6psi (like he's getting a built motor together or something)....otherwise that's comical. If i built anything with a 37R and it made 380whp i'd find another hobby.

Not sure if it's the case here, but the way some people build and drive turbo cars amazes me. If you want to say you have a 37R, build the setup properly...don't run 6psi and embarrass yourself with such a retarded setup...and learn to drive the damn thing. Brake boost and powershift FFS.

Your bro needs to hook up the nitrous I sold him.

Your car rolls out on the hit! V owner needs to mod up a bit more. Love how quiet and refined it is, but personally, I always loved hearing 03-04 Cobras loud whine followed by a roaring exhaust

Thanks for all the comments and compliments guys, it was a fun day, especially for a middle of the week cruise!

I wasn't there, but I heard it was pretty shady. From what I heard the car made 380 rwhp on 6 psi and 400+ on 9 psi, with the stock motor. A built motor is currently under way for the car and the boost will be cranked up. It sounds like he's just trying to make sure it stays together until the new motor is done. Obviously the driver mod is not currently installed.

He said he's started tinkering with the nitrous, figuring out where he wants to mount everything and run the lines, etc. Hopefully it will be in within the next couple weeks. He'll just have to get it tuned before he sprays it.

That all motor Sentra he raced ran damn good. Surprised a bunch of us with the results.

He has everything he should need to do a nice ash tray window switch.

Look forward to the runs with it. LT1s love spray!

The NA Sentra was nasty from a dig! lol

I remember us joking before the race about him blowing the tires off out of the whole while cranking past the LT1. He almost did!

I'm not at all surprised about the shady part, lol.

If he's building a motor it's understandable. There just seem to be quite a few guys (mostly Hondas) that slap a monster turbo on a car and run it way below its efficiency range. That's cute for looking like a badass in the parking lot, but when your 67mm civic gets yanked by a bolt-on LS1 that 67mm is not so cool anymore.

Thanks! Once the Nano goes on I'll see what it makes with the 100 and 150 jets, but probably use the 100's mostly to help a bottle last longer.

It's funny you mention the Honda guys doing that. When my car just had he cold air and tune (335 rwhp) I ran a Civic with a 35R. From a dig it was a joke, but even from a roll he could only pull a car on me. With the right setup that turbo should turn my car inside out, but it was clearly not set up properly. The best part was how the "did you really bring that car out to race my big turbo Civic" look that the guy gave me before the race

Classic, lol.

I know 2 guys with off the shelf 35R DSMs that actually use their turbos to their potential.

One went 9.7@147, the other went 9.5@152. A 35R civic should be trapping no less than 140 if it's a full weight street car.

"I'm a badass, i have a 35R car!"

"What's it run?"

"14.8 @ 105"

With my limited knowledge of turbos and imports, I'd probably tell him that was a good time

I saw a 16g for the first time in person outside of a car...holy ******* **** that is tiny. It's seriously like the size of my left nut. I figured it would power something along the lines of a 49cc or such, not an Evo (at least that's what I was told it came off).

There are so many terms thrown around that I have no frame of reference for. 16G, 20G, 30R, 35R, 50 Trim, etc. I have a basic understanding, but no idea of how they should all run compared to each other.

Nice Vid and runs as always. I love your G8 btw it looks so grocery getter-ish then you open the jug and its like HOLY CRAP that thing moves. Tell your brother to get the spray on the ole' LT1 and it will surprise some unexpecting people I'm sure.

Thanks BigBird, I'm loving the spray since it lets me race a whole new level of cars. Still a lot of fun on motor and I'm gonna try to find a few good motor races.
