so went out cruising with my buddy last night. i was in my car i had a 250lb passenger. my car makes 440whp 410tq with my current setup. my buddys car is a 01 ss, stock 346 with hooker lts, catback, 12 bolt with 4.10s, ms3 cam, injectors(not sure what he has) i think thats about it but he made 400whp. we only got to do one race, but we went from 60-140. we were dead even, i mean it couldnt be anymore even. now i know i am heavier with the iron block, 250lb passenger and my car in general is heavier then his i just thought i woulda pulled him a little bit. we were both shifting at 7k, not missed gears and we both were hittin them hard, no cars around anywhere and at like 2am. Now my car has not been tuned in id say 4 years or so, since the previous owner had it built so I couldnt tell you it its still running those numbers. what do you guys think of the result?

both runnin ls6 manifolds, 241 heads. he also has a ported tb. i know my 370 is really being held back with the stock heads,intake and tb.

100lbs equals 10rwhp equals .1 sec in the quarter mile is the rule. So yeah, sounds about right. At least you had fun!

yeah i remember that 100lbs=.1 +\- , he also is running 28" dr's im running 26" dr's, he left in 2nd i left in 3rd.

my car runs very hard for what it is, so the OP's car is no slouch.

OP's car has a T-rex cam.

mine is a ms3. Both have been proven to be hard runners.
