Very true, and I'm sure the 315s on 20s will help over the 21's....but I still say 17's for some dig runs. **** it, 20's up front, 17's out back, still a street car

Asked him if he wants to run again tonight. This time I'll put a passenger in my car too to video it and I'll do a nice long burnout before and lower tire pressure to about 20 for a low-2nd run.

OP you do realize dyno numbers are corrected for the weather 99% of the time unless yours arent for some odd reason.

Id like to see updated videos, im still puzzled how and why he put an IRS in the fox and how it would possibly hook better.

I don't think 100rwhp more it's going to make up for the rape he gaved you last time unless he was giving you some lengths and the hit

Power turned WAY up. Where we use to see only 450rwtq at 2.5-3k rpm, we are now seeing north of 600. Also where we were seeing 530ish rwhp we are now seeing 632.

Last time car was running like 19 degrees of timing, at like 10.2 AFR. Then again you don't have that problem with your 900rwhp tune only L99.

Throw away all your American logic. I'm in Central America. Nothing makes sense. Dynos are not corrected. My headers/cai/tuned L99 only hit 352rwhp where the lowest one in the US was hitting like 375ish. The dynos here are a little off. We were seeing modded cars hitting stock number rwhp on multiple occasions. And I am tuned for the shitty fuel with my meth mix.

The foxbody hooks 500x better. I told you, throw away American logic. I don't understand it either but the thing is a rocket now with the cobra IRS. Rained today so we couldn't run. Supposebly tomorrow we going to have some fun runs with a factoryfix '68 427ci shelby cobra and that modded PDK turbo S.

Would 200 rwhp even make up for that? To top that off he says the Fox body is now hooking where it was spinning.

You're underestimating torque at low RPMs. I have 600rwtq at 3k rpm. He doesn't full boost until 5kish~.

The two vids I posted were of my car very de-tuned. Tuning makes a huge difference. You should know this. I'd expect idiocy from the fasted L99 owner but not a cobra owner.

just curious, but how do you expect to hook that tq on street tires? a burnout & 20psi isnt going to help that tq fighting against the cars weight, to boot.

We are talking about the king of Zumuda here people. As far as i'm concerned you have the support of LS1tech and the United States.. Another words "you can do it"!

I don't ever hook on the street... I spin well into 3rd and even from an 80 roll. On one run I hooked through half of second amazingly and that's why it was such a close door to door race.

I have a bunch of suspension parts and some beefy 315s coming to try to hopefully hook in 2nd

We really have no reference points with our setups for trapping. When I was at 430-440rwhp cam I was trapping 118.

He was trapping 125-126 a year ago before some upgrades. We think he would probably trap 135ish. I'm thinking my car as is traps about 127-128 and maybe 130-131 on DRs.
