Default First encounter with the Z

4 lane hwy on the way home... I spot a 2004 (35th annv edition) GT ahead. I switch over a lane and begin to gradually pull up to him. I am in 4th and the guy nails it with all it's got...... He has a 3 car head start AND I leave it in 4th. Pull on him like he was standing still and was about to walk the dog when he lets out. I know it is not much, but from 3 cars back and in 4th!?!?!?!? FN LS1 !!!!!

had a 2002 5spd GT with IMCO one chambers.... sounded like sex. The day I bought the Z28, I was looking at a 1997 WS6 T/A. The car ran strong, but the interior was poo. I test drove a 2004 GT 5spd and it felt like a Honda after driving the LT1. Found the Z28 and the rest is history.

Good kill! Pics of the Maroon Z? There is one local around here with a similar car, but I think it is totally stock. Nice lightening as well!

Thanks for the compliments..... I still love a Stang look and sound, but had to get something faster out of the box. Besides.... I have T-Tops and a Six speed (which gets me 21.5 mpg city)

You speak the truth. One of my favorite colors. I had a Patriot Red Metallic 95 Z28 that I loved as well.

OP, nice looking car.

I still like Sunset Orange Metallic better. Just couldn't find one so I got my second favorite color.
