Default h/c only c6 vs whippled&bolt on 03 cobra (Packy)dig,roll35,45, page4 45,55,60daylight

This was one of the biggest grudge match in this area... We both been internet bench racing each other for a while now. He came in his drag set up... ccw's with slicks... And I'm wearing my bald nitto dr. My surprise I hooked well but I didn't power shift because we was fairly close to each other and the road condition was a little sloppy. I was expecting a whoopin from him like no other. Well enough talk here are the races that my boy filmed from my iphone.. Later on today I'm going to try and get the guy riding with me the entire time to post vids of in car. Keep in mind entire time I had a passanger and packy did not. Packy was having traction issue's on the dig's so we did a few roll race's and he still spun a bit. All race's was done on my beep. Overall I won 4 and he won 2. He won a 1 35 roll and 1 45 roll. I do have more video's but the kid filming this deleted it by accident. The guy riding with me got all the video's and later on I will post of in car vid's.. Hopefully he'll post on youtube so it'll be easier for yal. Only reason we used phone was because the damn camcorder went to **** on the first dig. Keep in mind I got the car tuned in ohio and I'm down in nc area. The car is running hella rich. All filmed in mexico

Dig run #2..First dig the cobra spun to hard and isn't worth posting. Strangely my car traction control came back on during 2nd gear shift. I think my buddy pushed it when the escort feel off the window. You can hear around 4th gear the engine bog.. either 13 or 14sec's. I also let off a little early at 15.5 sec's because I thought we was running out of room

That was the shittiest blacktop road I think I have ever seen. Away from the cops but crappy.

How did you win 4 races when you only beat me in the first dig where I left 300 feet of rubber, second dig never happened because of the road conditions, and the roll when I barely heard your honks and missed 3rd gear. I am still trying to figure out which other race you won?

A better count is me 3 rolls you 1 dig and a roll... With a better road and more room will make it clear who won. If you want I am game for a daytime race for better video.

I didnt watch the vids cuz photobucket takes 3 hrs to load on my phone but how much power does this cobra make? If it makes around 600 and he can drive this shouldnt be a race.

Yea I was thinking about day vid's... My boy will be posting all the vid's of in car on youtube and I'll link em from there.. His phone has really good camera.. Like I said the kid filming deleted most our race's... either case Packy you seem like your not giving prop's.. I would gave you prop If you dragged me hard like you said you was. I was expecting it. As you should know the vette's pull hardest in forth. I could swore we done 2 digs, 2 35 and 2 45 rolls.. Even when I missed forth you edge me by a fender...If I didn't have a person with me the entire time it prob would helped as well.. On the honks we left at the same time and you did have some traction issues. On the strip you'll take me nuff said about that.. 580rwhp cobra w slick's vs 470rwhp vette with bald nitto's... A race is a race, you brung what you had and so did I.. miss shifting,traction issues is all racing. Your DD against mine... if I would of miss shifted the entire time you would prob be ranting the **** how you drug my slow *** vette like you always said.. I wanted these races to ended our "grudge" we had but I guess it'll keep on

I do need spray... I have 2 options once I sell my grocery getter... Nitrous or m/t et's... I'm leaning towards the nitrous. Either or I won't have enough for both for another 6 months of saving.. Tire mod will be amazing for me as well.. I have to slip the **** out my clutch to keep the tires from spinning @ a 4k launch on the street after a nice burn out.. I plan on stopping by that area tomorrow to view our evidence and take a pic of packy's marks.. I'll post a pic of it so yal can see how hard he spun

Sounds like a rematch is definitely in order.


Maybe y'all should do it at the track, that way no worries about the popo a better surface for traction and a win light so there will be no dispute on who won.

I never said you didn't win that dig and the other race when I missed a shift. Sorry I failed to give you your badass dopeshit props for that. You are also trying to act like I didn't win ****... Also you never missed fourth gear completely like you are claiming to have and stayed within a fender. You were just slightly delayed in getting it into gear because it went into 4th each time we raced. Due to the situation with the road we never even ran fourth gear out. At least I didn't. BTW-I was on ET Streets not slicks. Go back and watch the videos it was more than a fender in some of those rolls with the last race me being ahead by a half a car to a fender at the end. My car also pulls hardest up top too. As far as this grudge **** goes the easiest way to do it legally is at the track and then there is no excuses. Like Friday night when yellow lights drop the BS stops.

what did you do to fix the miss shifting. New shifter box? I have the same problem.

Correction... M/t et street's... Still spinning with those... That's ex-actually why I like the street's.. Anybody's game. We both know You'll win at the track.. I have no tire and I really don't want to risk smacking into the wall. I'll have in-car video's to post soon.. Your boy should post his on here from the finish line as well. Idk if you didn't notice but I never power shifted.. between that split 1-2 sec of a "delay" I must of moved the shifter 10 time's from neutral to 4th... clutch in and foot off the throttle.. If you listen you'll hear the car hit rev limiter once during the "delay" shift and when I do get in gear it seemed I was back down to 4k rpm's.. bad thing about a really light flywheel... drop r's faster

Did you see the first video? Do you have a hurst as well? I have a brand new mgw shifter and it does it if I shift fast. When i shift normal it goes in the gears fine. I have a new shifter box not installed yet ill let you know if it fixes the problem.

The Hurst came with extra stiffer spring's... I'm sure it has the softer spring's in it from mfg, and yea mine only does it on hard shifting..

I am heading to the track Friday to try the nitto's out but I already know what they're going to do... I bet 100$ I still run a better 1/8 both trap and mph when I was bone stock compared to now.. Why must you ask... Because 2-2.5 60ft's and 5.8-6+ 330's, and and a awesome -90mph 1/8mile traps around 8.1-8.3.. Now the "if I was driving your car" Bs... No that's not the case.. I have let a few guys take my car down that track and they all had worse or sim results to me so that driver mod bs is out the window.. These tires on really good on street and that's it.. ask anyone that makes over 400whp and run nitto 555r extreme drag radials..

Those tires aren't that bad. There is slot more that goes into hooking a car then tires. I have run those numerous times and if you can't muster a 1.8 or better 60' then you need more help then tires.

That is badass man that you moved your shifter 10 times before you got it into 4th. Even though I had a solid car on you each time we got that far and due to the road we were forced to shutdown. What is also good is that even though I spun from the dig I still stayed right with you while spinning. See the two videos here. They were the only clean videos that my buddy made. One is the dig and the other one of the 35-40mph rolls. With your speedo being off from your 3.90 gears the roll speeds were a bit slower than the 35 and 45 mph rolls you had said they were. Bottom line during the 4 rolls we did you won the one race where I missed 3rd I finished ahead of you. You got me by a car on the dig. That makes your initial count of 4 wins for you to 2 wins for me actually 2 wins for you and 3 wins for me... This is the second time you have posted up improper information after races you did. I will be at the track this Friday and we can do this again or go for a daytime vid on 17 today sometime frum your roll so we can stretch 4th gear out more than were able to last night.

The Jacksonville track is one of the worse prep tracks I been to.. I pulled a 1.8 before with these tires when the car was near stock and tires had around 50% thread... Now I have no inner thread.. I have maybe 1.5-2/32 threading on the sides of the tire..

I'm surprised he beat you at all seeing as you have a big whipple to his H/C stock LS2. Good runs tho.
