2000 ws6 vs 2012 gt500
my car is in the signature with 450rwhp vs stock 2012 gt500, no nitrous just motor.both races were same outcome from 30-110mph 3 honks and we are off side by side at 60mph then 80mph i sneak past by a fender.those cars run damn good stock!!( lol) i talked to the guy afterwards he said he just got it and was shipped up from south carolina awesome blue color with white stripes.he also said he has 3k worth of mods going onto the car soon,i said we will meet again.next time im hoping to have a passenger to get a video of the race and ill be spraying a 150 shot.

Good kill! Those cars are no joke when driven well.
They are rated 550 hp (I believe they dyno 480+) and I think 2011+ had the aluminum block and weighed 75-100lbs less than the early GT500's.

Just seen the 2013 has a 5.8L. But is it a new engine platform or just an increased displacement of the previous 5.4L aluminum engine?

11-12 had 5.4 but was aluminum block not cast iron like the earlier models.

Did a quick search and you're right on SRZ. New 5.8L is an updated 5.4L from the previous year GT500. Same aluminum block, increased bore, cylinder heads have increased coolant flow, uses same cams from the Ford GT, piston-cooling oil jets similar to those in the 5.0 coyote, increased redline to 7k, increased compression to 9.0:1 from 8.5:1 and uses the 2.3 TVS blower.
