His rims are not the stock ones, they may be even 22s and there chrome, It is a 04 or 06 maybe, it isnt new. I think I can win, just dont want to lose. I could use the money if I win for rent, lol or if I lose then sol. Ill see if he will run top speed.

I wouldn't do it. He might try to hustle you to race one of his buddies or make excuses after he loses. Is the party holding the money gonna be a neutral person because if not you can get scammed hard. Just sayin.

When I had my 93 z28 I had a Harley Davison f150 keep ****** with me on the freeway. I didn't want to waste my gas on him but finally said **** it I threw it in 5th. Yes 5th just to make it interesting, at around 65, and floored it. He got on it too I couldn't even hear my own car with long tubes over him. We were neck and neck the whole time I don't remember what speed I let off at probably 100. That should tell u something lol

A friend of mine just got an 02 and wants to race my 5.3 single cab short bed for ***** and giggles. I told him it would be a waste of his gas but he thinks it will be closer than I think.
So even some of the owners know they aren't rocket ships.

Its an LT1 but I think he's running a bit of bottle in it. I think OP should be fine... but you never know. If you've seen his setup, and he's on just an intake... I would race 'em. Just make sure you don't screw your launch up.
You'd have a better chance of a win from a roll.
