I think the saleen driver is bench racing more then all the posters here combined in this thread so I don't see him stepping up anytime soon - I agree, they just need to go race. ;-) BTW - I am the op's dad and will pay for the entrance fee at the track if these boys get their act together soon. lol

I bet the op would go race right now - one way or the other it's still fun. He wants to DR and STALL it before the race BUT responsibilities come first which is very grown up of him...were you ever a 17 year old kid who actually paid to play? Quit busting his chops.

If you're going to start a thread about a race that is going to or might happen, make sure its going to happen soon. Don't start a thread then come to find out you're likely gonna get smoked and put the race on hold until you mod up. That's

Seriously... i go on here to learn and get information because you know more about this stuff then me and then you rag on me for the race not going down yet.. i not even the one holding out.. Grow up. im the 17 year old and im acting more mature then some of you guys.. this is a forum for information if you want to start drama go join FB.. And THANK YOU! everybody who wasn't an *** and gave me some good advice i seriously appreciate it! When/If the race goes down (if this kid gets back to me) I WILL post a video!

OP.. as a heads up. This section is run like a **** soup kitchen. If you don't follow every rule to the T... you will be ragged on by everyone and eventually thread locked.
Do everyone a favor and race the guy. Stay as humble as possible and most of all, enjoy it. Racing is only fun until it gets too competitive.. then you end up like most others (being a chevy, ford, mopar, etc nutswinger and is filled with more hate towards other brands then love for the hobby itself). Go out and have fun... worst case scenario... you lose to the faster boosted car. Theres no shame in that. Theres always a faster car.

No offense kid, but there's an entire section for bench racing like this. This is the SRK section to post up HOW a race went down.
The reason everyone's giving you **** about it is because no race has gone down at all for the 5 pages of this thread. Bench race in the bench race section... kill ************* then post it here. Hell... get killed and still post it here. Just don't ask what we think here, when we're all expecting to see vids and hear how races went down.

Took awhile but i finally got some mods done and we headed to the track! haha
He didn't run very well but his pb is a 12.39 at 119 but he was a street tires that pass and the pass in the video. This run was like a 13 something and i worked with him and we got him down to the 12.39! It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad we got to do it!

Do you know the 60' for the Stang when he ran the 12.3's? Just wondering if he would have been able to run with you on DRs? I guess it depends on what kind of 60'ft he had.
