Prius vs. Civic

Prius vs. Civic No vid of this one cause I wasnt expecting it, otherwise I would have recorded it..
I was in my 2500HD on the way to the school to setup classes. The street I was coming down had a considerable down hill drade to it, double lane and comes to a light. At the light ofcourse is a slight flat spot cause of the crossroad, then it goes back to a mild downgrade.
I come to the light and there is a late 90's Civic and a Pruis. As soon as the light turns green both of them smash it and take off..I got on it a little to keep up..let out when I hit about 45 and just coasted, they pulled till the next light about 1/8 mile up.
Both had the hit, Prius pulled by half a car and held it the whole time...I was laughing my *** off....
Might be the first kill by a Prius...

That thread had me LOLING. My fav was the 1/4 mile at 17.8 seconds at 78 mph..and people are saying they arnt slow. Yea, 80mph traps are blistering alright lol

I am simply amazed at the amount retard in that thread. Next time I see a prius ill make sure I do a burn out next to them so they can smell un catted exhaust and burning rubber, and go home and rage about how much better their car is to their family.

I wouldn't be surprised at the OP's story. Old 90s hondas around here tend to be loud ridiculous exhaust, and body panel nonsense in the 17-19 second region at lord knows what hilarious trap speed.

I totally believe it would win, I had a mid 90s auto 200K+ 1.5l civic, I was honestly afraid of highway driving because even WOT took me entire on ramps to go 30-60. I would say, if I had taken that civic to the track and ran under 20 seconds I would have celebrated.

So what's the big deal with 11.3 and 4 seconds? Can't wait 5.3 seconds? Do you know how long you are going to live in seconds? hahahah Having 500hp, 600hp, etc... is so stupid. It only gives you bragging rights to those care and matter. Most people don't care. What's the market share for the caveman low tech muscle cars? Obviously overwhelming number of people prefer Camry, Accord, and Altima. Guess what? All three have/will have hybrid option You guys are meaningless.
The only thing that counts is the efficiency.
