Let's step it up a notch
Since most have not and will not read the rules, here is the link and here they are in copy/paste-
https://ls1tech.com/forums/street-ra...ease-read.html
First and foremost, we greatly appreciate your participation here at
LS1Tech and your contribution to the 'Street Racing & Kill Stories' forum.
With that said, it's important that you understand the rules specific to
this section since they somewhat differ from the tech-based sections
of LS1Tech.com.
General Rules
1. Absolutely no mindless flamewars. We encourage you to speak your mind
and debate points. However, your arguements must be stated in a mature
manner.
2. Spamming and/or trolling will absolutely not be tolerated in any form.
3. Do not link to controversial topics on other forums.
4. Any members who threaten anyone with intent to harm financially or
physically will be removed from the site. Should any legal activity occur,
we will also gladly work with the Law Authorities in any case related to
these actions.
5. LS1Tech.com is a work safe environment. All material that isn't safe for
work is strictly prohibited.
6. "What would happen?" threads should be posted in the Dyno & Bench Racing Forum.
7. Posts that stray off topic are subject to being edited in order to keep
them on track or they will be locked.
8. Posts with excessive bench racing are subject to being edited or locked.
9. The 'Street Racing & Kill Stories' section is available for you to post your
street racing kills only. All other posts are subject to being locked (i.e. "I
killed a deer with my car.")
10. Bashing and/or personal attacks on members will not be tolerated.
Other
1. Under the guidelines presented, moderators reserve the right to judge
which threads belong and which do not and act on that judgement. If you
have a complaint about a certain moderator's activities, present your
complaints to one of the forum administrators.
2. If you are a troll and/or a tool who floods the forum with meaningless or
aggressive posts, prepare to be flamed. Users are always promoted to
speak their mind, but being a tool almost always equates a good flaming.
Keep this in mind while posting.
3. By posting or reading this website, you agree to waive all legal rights and
hold harmless this site, the staff, and the owners. If you cannot agree to
these terms, please do not use the forum.
Anyone who agrees to read or use this website must willingly agree to the
rules. Any violation of these rules may result in a removal of your account
without warning. Moderators reserve the right to determine which posts
belong and which do not and act on that judgement. Rules & regulations
are subject to change. Moderators and/or admin reserve the right to
ammend these rules as required.
Are there any questions? I made this thread for those of you who will find something unclear-

Does this include underhanded trolling like stating you may have run a specific car you have a deep and public hatred for and stating you smoked them with 500lbs in your car on 87 octane in a Sonata no less? This subtle almost ninja-esque style of trolling is still trolling.

Is it bashing if said member has been outed by other members and admitted that he did not do what he originally claimed, even if he covers it up with a lie?

Are we to understand that that means we can handle ourselves in here? Is it ok to flame a tool who downplays and snobs his nose at cars dependent on age but drives a car from a similar generation?

Agree, from now on, if you post something not related to your kill. It's just getting closed.
Greatly appreciated
Just help contribute to the site. Thank you-

BTW I believe instead of "thread" you meant to put "entire forums."

Now, let us follow the lessons that "Scarface" taught us & start small & not get too greedy. After everyone stops visiting all other threads & only visits your "2SSARME's Thread of Infinite Wisdom" we can look to take over the rest of the forums.

As I've previously stated, there are some very simple guidelines to keep in mind if you don't want any trouble from me, and I'm about as easy going and open-minded as it gets in regards to moderation on this site:
- Stick to the cars and racing. This is a car and racing forum. Everyone enjoys some drama and competition or this wouldn't even be a hobby, but when a flaming opportunity presents itself for whatever reason, keep the flaming car and racing related. Talking about someone's mom or their sexual orientation or anything else that has nothing to do with cars or racing serves no purpose except to demonstrate to everyone your lack of creativity and wit. Being a member of a car forum that celebrates a vehicle with a reputation for redneck owners doesn't help us to begin with, so you're really just tossing wood on the fire for anyone browsing and reading your posts.
- Keep the obscene and uncalled for language to a minimum. Profanity is often a great way to emphasize your point when used appropriately, but it loses its power when every other word in every other post needs to be filtered or edited. It also, once again, works against you by displaying your lack of vocabulary and, often, intelligence, not to mention it tends to take conversation to an unacceptable level of non-automotive attack. For these reasons, it's a bit of a red flag for us.
- Absolutely no physical threats of any sort. No further explanation needed.
I will also note that I am not here to decide whether or not some random person I've never met on the internet is telling the truth or bullshitting everyone, and I am not going to sort through posts and threads and weigh evidence to attempt to make those calls. No one is obligated to open, read, or respond to any thread and the thread starter's username is listed right under the title, visible to all before even opening the thread. If you can't use that information to decide whether or not you want to get involved in the story and conversation you believe is likely taking place in that thread, then perhaps it is you who does not belong on the forum.
Stick to these guidelines and you'll probably never get a ban from me. But again, I'm not the only one enforcing the "rules", so keep that in mind. Jay has listed to official rules in the first post, so if your reasoning and mental process fail you, simply ask yourself if you're breaking any of those rules before hitting the "Submit Reply" button.
