H/C/I LS2 C6 vs 440 C6 Went to the track to run in the annual santa clause shootout. Got knocked out the first round by a Sprayed ls1 T/A that ran 10.4 lol. Was being conservative with the launches all day then a guy approaches me and asks me if I want to run a vette.
So I was like ok let me take a look at it. Its a yellow c6 with full zr1 body kit. 15 rims with 28" cheater slicks
, through the clear hood all you could see was nitrous solenoids and lines lol. So I was like this is a freaking race car. He telling me it's just a H/C/I ls3
and its a turd off the spray. So im like yea ok buddy. I can do 2 and the hit n/a to n/a for 100. Well we finally agree on the back tire and the hit.
We line them up when the light comes down he just takes off so W goes to me easy money
. Well he comes around and wants to do same race again so im like alright i can do that( I just want to see how his car runs). We get into the waterbox Im waiting on him to do his burnout and the waterbox battle begins lol
. I waited on him for like 3min and the whole time his crew is over there opening his door messing with crap so im like hes got a hidden kit or something

Then finally my buddy tells them to hurry and do a burnout then finally we do our burnouts I stage up. He sits right before the beam and starts like revving his car like hes purging the nitrous through the motor. Well he line up I know I can't leave anything on the board so I let the lights come down I bring the rpms up to 5,000 then just as I start letting the clutch out I jam the gas down the rpms flare up and off I go. Spin for about 15 feet she hooks up and Im gone. Hit 4th and he comes around me like im sitting still lol. I trapped 128.4 staging on the back tire so thats like 130 normally staged. He had to have atleast 10mph on me the way he came around. The race is at the end of the video. They had two gopros on his car so im trying to figure out where those videos are.
I need some gears really bad im dropping out of the power band really bad on the 3-4 shift. We found out the car had a 440 because the guy who set up the race is friends with one of my buddies and didn't know I know him and told him all about the car lol.

Ha yea yellow car is a beast but you did pretty good agaisnt it on motor. I wish I would have made it out but I am sure it was nothing but slow redneck cars like Mike said lol On a serious note are you coming down for the 29th?

So he knew what your car was and ran... Lied about mods trying to hustle you for 100$. Knowing it wouldn't be close.Sounds like a *****! Kudos toxic for taking the win. For a nitrous/fi stroker car to even pick on a h/c car and lie about mods is lame. I hope this guy gets walked hard in the near future.
