Default Camaro Z28 vs Mustang GT

Here is a video of my friend coming across a Mustang GT. We caught up to the Mustang and tested out the 2 step. The lane we were in ended and merged left after about an 1/8 mile.

Before my swap my 2v was dead even with a Tiburon, got stomped by a stock crew cab Silverado 2500, and the list goes on. The motor is very reliable but in stock form or na period they're dogs. They run good when boosted though.

The 4.6 was a joke, that's why they redid it and thank god! And I'm not even a ford fan.

Haha yeah i'm not surprised! I owned a 2004 Mustang gt with full bolt ons, tune, gears, cams, and a 100 shot...it still couldn't touch my SS on motor even lol

Why does people say this?? It's about dumb to say that. Before a ls1 came along what stock heads could compete with it?....nothing.

We did some dyno work for a company long ago when ls stuff 1st came out. It was probably one of the first 427 ls engines. It made like 550 and the intake was holding it back a bit. The ford nutswingers at the shop was like "yea the intake is junk" being kinda smug about it. I asked them to show me a production ford intake that could make 550 .....lol never heard that again
