haha Thanks. They hated it over on svtp. It must be so insulting for them to see a stock exterior, fully loaded, "nPI" automatic wrecking some popular cars.

This video was pretty much the achievement of some of my long time goals for the car.
Beat '99-'04 "PI" Mustang GTs...check
Beat Z33 350Zs...check
Beat '05-'09 "S197" 3V Mustang GTs...check
Beat a '93-'97 Lincoln Mark VIII 4V...not many get on it
Beat '99 or '01 N/A Cobra 4V...yet to meet up w/ one
Beat a 5th gen Cadillac Seville "32V" V-8...scheduled for termination
Make an easy 14-sec pass or better in hot weather...still to come

I already had limited success against all those cars previously under certain conditions: holeshot them, or they had a passenger, missed gear, etc. I had even beaten a 370Z heads up at the track when he spun and did a 2.8 60-ft. But most of the time these cars either barely edged me out or pulled me steadily.

So the latest mods were just the trick to make that wrong situation right. All these runs were heads up driver against driver except the 240 which had a passenger. Even the 240Z...My brother used to have a '73 240Z that kept up right there with an '84 Mustang GT 5.0 5-spd from a dig to 3rd gear so to me that was a 3rd-person victory against one of my '90s rivals hehe.

Is it just me or does your car break up a little after it shifts. Sounds like you let out and get back in it.

Thanks guys.

The 3V was on street tires and spun a little.

I haven't noticed, but you could be right. The shift kit I have hits the gears super hard so my tuner did some drivability work on the tune to make it less violent.

Where are you located? I have a Mark VIII.

What's done to your thunderbird? Stock you shouldn't be beating 2v stangs

Now I know what you all are talking about. That's the TC locking in 3rd. It pulls pretty good when it locks up...like another close-ratio gear.

Whats done to the t-bird to run like that? I also have a 95 thunderbird as a daily driver, this is good inspiration for me to mod it!
