Nice holeshot! question though: if DSM hadn't missed a gear would the stang still have won?

Hard to say. Maybe that coupled with the DSM not sleeping on the line. I believe the DSM or group with him called out the mustang. This race was done after the track technically closed.

Have my doubts about how "built" that DSM actually is.

Nice kill for the stang if the DSM called him out

Exactly what i was going to say. My buddiies BUILT (not internet "built") DSM runs 9's at 150 mph with an auto. With his old setup that made 100 less whp it would trap 14xmph. Looks like a bolt on stock turbo DSM to me. He can't find any mustang to run him on the street

wow, i need to get out of the LS1 scene if DSM's trap over 120mph with bolt ons.

Arm drop was done by the tree, cant see it at the launch.

Where was there a MPH listed? All i got was a race with a stock sounding dsm. If its even in the 120s its obviously a stock motor with a bigger turbo.

MPH wasn't listed. DSM trapped around 120mph earlier in the day and the mustang was known to do around 116ish. It was meant to be a street race at the track.

120 is well within the range of a slap on turbo upgrade and bolt-ons.

really? around here it takes a stroked motor with cams and a larger turbo with 2400lb race weight.
