Default Automach, you said you want some?

You still want that street race Automach?

I had a 1.48 60', 6.92@97.xx, 10.87@124.35 on my beat pass. Pretty sure this is a record pass for stock heads and stock bottom end. Drove 7 hrs to No Problem Raceway in La with the wife and youngest daughter to make some passes. Memphis has cancelled tnt 3 times so far this year so I said screw it, made a road trip.

So obviously, you see I will drive a good distance to run, you still wanna try this pig of a 5th gen?

Excellent runs man. What changed to get the extra 2.5mph on the back half? Diff shift point? Lower da?

Thanks guys! The mph came from shift points and I delayed the converter lockup a bit, it was pulling it down too soon.

Time for either the nitrous kit to go on it for street duty, OR headwork, maybe some intake and exhaust changes and stay NA and shoot for 10.50s or 60s. I love being all motor honestly.

Stay NA. Too easy to just slap a shot or throw some psi at it. Takes a lot more brain power to do it without an adder. (not meant to be a dig on any boosted or n2o guy).

Btw whats it weighing in at for these passes?

Love your car! Gets down like it should, unlike 90% of the 5th gens out there. Id love to see this thing with some head work, I see some mid to high 120 traps in your future. Keep it up!

Nope just got back to little rock.

Da was 0 to -400 I believe I was checking but it kept floating arounnd. Good air anyways.

I'm really proud of it, I did all the work and tuning and its been fun! I am also a sponsor on here (Gpi) and moat of the parts came right from the shelf, nothing custom, just a lot of homework.

Pewter, I wish I'd had known you were there I'd like to have met you. Terry from fms helped me with swapping the wheels and cooldown in between runs. I literally carried 4 tires, tool bag, luggage, baby, wife and a diaper bag....lol. sucked we only had one lane mist of the night but the track was hooking!

Wheels are 17" c5 replica rears and gto spares with mh front runners. 100% stock suspension, no front sway and race weight was about 3780.

I wanted to run e85, but none was to be found so all passes were on 93!

I have v6 brakes btw, I'm pretty sure that I'm the first to crack 10s cam only and with the exception of the 86 lbs worth of seats out, its all there, air, air bags, radio etc.

Stay n/a rhino!!!!!! Your not done yet. I'm sure there are a few more things you can do to improve. Do some more cam only work. I bet you can get to 10.5. Then once you get everything done do some heads. Maybe you could be the first n/a 5th gen in the 9's on a h/c set-up!!!

Don't worry about the some of the boosted/spray guys. Especially the spray guys. Their butt hurt anyway. If they're not spraying a 300+ shot they are just trying to make up for a small wieny. The boosted guys that make their own set-up are the only ones that know wtf they are doing too. The rest are just cookie cutters.

Man 9s are so far away, but I think I can get deeper in the 10s at around 127 or so.
