I never said I didn't like WS6 and Firehawk Formula's. The hood makes a HUGE difference. The tips look awesome too.
I'm just not a fan of the Base models that look like V6 Firebirds. Especially without tips in the back. Just my personal preference.

lol i think tips look terrible. They all sag. I want a WS6 hood. I just can't really find one in carbon fiber. Ill worry about that when i paint the car though. But i agree that one looks sick as hell. I actually just saw a picture of a T/A without the moldings and wow it made such a huge difference IMO. Looks more sleek.

GM did this *** backwards. the z\28 as it sits now should have been released last year as a boss competitor. then the zl1 should have came out now, but with the ls9 since the c6 zr1 is on it's way out anyway.

Who cares what its competing against, I'm just glad GM has finally listened to us and at least tried to take some weight of that thing and give it a powertrain that will make that pig run worth a damn. Thats a REALLY good sign for the next model.

I was able to get my streetcar 5th gen down to 3575 with basic weight reduction (exhaust, wheels, Driveshaft,Braille, removing unnecessary items like foam in the trunk) this was full carpet and with the 55lb seats.
I dont see why I wont be at 3500-3600 while being boosted after my next batch of weight cutting. (lighter seats, rotors,Tubular K member, etc.) while still keeping it a street car.
Honestly, this Z28 is probably going to tip the scale around 3650-3700 before the ability to remove muffler and what not. I think they typod the 300lbs lighter than the ZL1. It should be 100-200lbs lighter than the SS.

I think this car is much better looking, hoping the weight doesn't kill the darn thing, I would have one for sure, really like the 10XXXXXX better looking rear end. Gm may have listened to LS1 Tech FOR ONCE!

maybe it will be in the 6gen camaro as a option but more likely the base SS will have the new LT1.
With all of these "track oriented" camaros - I think they should just drop one or make them much more dramatic of a difference between each -
