Default Rematch, rematch Cammed C5Z vs Cammed GTO
Well I just installed a cam on the Z06 this weekend. Its a 231/235 cam (which is literally the same cam as the GTO. Here are a couple great runs...

Cars:
C5Z has a cam, exhaust, vararam, tune and a passenger.
GTO has the same cam, fast 92, exhaust, vararam and tune.

I added another degree of timing before the race for him. We did it later when he didn't have a passenger and he got me by a little more.

Yeah, it was about a 1.5/2 car gain. As V8eater said, the race without a passenger I did a little better.

I was rooting for the GTO to creep back through 4th!

Great runs guys. Definitely a well setup GTO, which is nice for a change.

V8eaters GTO is a well set up car that isn't like the shithole GTO's you typically see on the internet w/ a heads/cam set up losing to a stock C5Z.
This. With 1/4 tank my car is 3500 w/o me so its a good bit lighter than stock. It makes a hair under 400ft-lbs at the wheels @3k rpms and makes 400+whp from 5k on up which it never gets below that during a race. Maybe 4900 on the 2-3 shift but you get the point. It runs 27-28* timing and I can drive it pretty well.

Drone can be eliminated with a 1/4 wave resonator. Find something that is a good volume.

thanks guys. I'm so indecisive when it comes to this stuff its annoying.

Amyways we will have plenty more runs to post up. WisT02STi has a cammed 02 T/A that's just a touch behind the GTO at this point
