Lets hope the new LT1's will put the coyote's back where they belong.. 2nd place (stock v stock)
Ouch second place, the next gen stang is around the corner and kicked the power up a bit. tivct is just gonna whip the LS up about in this bracket of performance.

Until the 5th gen goes on a diet the 5.0 is going to cause problems for the 5th gen guys and likely be in 2nd place for a long time.

its gonna take more than just a diet sorry guys but the 200-300 lb loss would definitely help out a lot.

Yep...word is 2015 is getting bump in power to 450-470hp for the gt. And the gt500 could be a at 700hp.

I need N20 and at least 2 more power adders... it's getting ridiculous.

We will see how weight plays out too. The 10-13 bodies were a decent bit heavier then the 05-09 bodies.

This is why I don't worry about it. Gm/Ford/Dodge are getting there cars to move out pretty good right now. I don't care who I'm faster or slower than. If I did I would've already put the ls7 in. I just like tinkering with my car. That's the basis of hotrodding. Not how much you spend or how many power adders you have.

Well i guess its time to upgrade to a Vette if all these muscle cars are keep going up in hp numbers light weight more power equals better starting point to make some real power. c5 Vette's you can get them around 10K to 15k all day long and the C5Z is still around 20k to 25k. so compared prices to new cars (around the same price that is) the C5Z is definitely the best bang for your buck that's out there right now.

That's true guess i need to buy a newer muscle car then. Because eventually it'll take more than just a cam and ported heads to keep up with these new muscle cars that are coming out.
