Same thing happened to me with my TA. Chances are you have an O2 wire that got ripped up and grounded out popping the fuse. When it happened to me my car felt like a complete turd. I fixed the O2 first, problem still there. Replaced the fuse and it was running like a champ.

Okay so I was cruising on the hwy when a blacked out debadged 5th gen came up next to me. I couldn't hear any exhaust or see any badges, so he punches it and just messing with me. So I catch back up and we punch it at about 80, run them up to 100? And I barely have a car on this camaro.
He told me it was a stock v6. We raced again at 75 and he jumped me but I caught up and at 110 I had a car? Is this right? I'm kinda confused cause I didn't think they were that fast...

But those V-6 5th gens are like low 14's at ~100 so not really all that shocked it did so well

Yes same thing happened to me in my T'Bird. Same thing he wouldn't drop down below 80 and baited me to come up. Once my fender got to his door he punches it and I did likewise only a split second later. So from 80 to 105ish I made up that car and hit the rev limiter. We were even when that happened and then suddenly he slows down and veers off to exit. I go oh **** that can only mean one thing lol...about 100 yards ahead was a black and white suv cop cruising along. I slowed down enough to keep my plate safe and maintained speed until I casually exited like nothing happened haha

So what you guys are saying is that your cars are fast...and 5th gen V-6 Camaros, OP's car, and my car are slow lol OK
My current dailly has a kill on a bolt-on and tuned 5th gen SS. Pulled away on the top end

Never said your car was slow, or that my car was amazingly fast, hell its still damn near stock, but what I am saying is that its faster than a 5th gen v6, plain and simple. Take it how you want though

Seriously? You raced from 80 to 100 and wonder why he stayed close to you? That's like a 3 or 4 second race, tops. This sounds totally believable. And a ''stock V6'' could mean a few different things. And why did you say that he ''beat'' you, if you were ahead?
