Good run. Its hard to justify building a heavy car when you watch races like this. My guess is by the sound of the GT, its an axleback, offroad x pipe, air intake, and tune auto car correct?

I agree, newer cars are just getting ridiculously heavy. I stuck with lighter cars to start modding.

5.0 right there had 4:10 gears,3500stall,cai,boss intake manifold,tuned,axleback...gt500 is bone stock

Still would rather have the GT500. Plus the 5.0 is prolly putting out close to 500 hp. Nothing a pulley and tune can't take care of.

Witch is roughly what a stock GT500 dynos. And when i said 500 hp i was talking crank hp.

No its a diferent shelby and the 5.0 had bald tires when they ran... That 5.0 is running good with a 150 shot now

the GT500 is not a base model pile of crap. You arent paying for a full blown racecar, you're paying for the luxuries and the heritage. Id much rather be driving my GT500 than that pile of **** base model 5.0..

the problem is expectations. Understand what the car is and accept it..
