460Rw Cobra (pullied/etc)..
700+Rw Supra. He is going to walk me but wants to run so I will. He likes rolls, I like digs... I said a dig and 20. He wouldn't do it. Wanted a 40, I told him a 40 and 10... Wouldn't do it... We landed on a 40 and a 20.
He is about to get tires so we can do a dig later and I'm getting a kit so I can play his game.

I expect the Cobra run to be over fairly fast, I don't plan on having to take it over 80-100mph.
If that is the case, I understand but it still blows I don't get my run.
If he wanted to run me, he shouldn't have said so until he was ready to give me one of my races IMO.
I'm coming on their "turf" so I think they are wanting to make a point more than anything. I'll play their game. He is the second fastest in their group, the fastest is a 750-800Whp Neon Srt-4. I'm hooking the kit up soon and going for him, prove my point.... Hopefully.

The guy can drive his *** off, he absolutely dead hooks on digs. This car as well as his old hardtop Z28 everyone swears up and down he is spraying a small shot because they run so incredible. I as well as many others "in the know" do not think he is. If he is, he didn't spray me.
I honestly don't give a **** what you think.
But yes... My marginal (two MAC truck lengths as the C5Z owner phrased it) win.

Either way, good kill. LS6 with minor boltons'll be in the neighborhood of 360-380rwhp depending on tune, condition, overall setup and dyno. You must have known you were going to walk him. How'd it all come about? They call you out or something?

I agree.. They said it was because he has such horrible traction issues. Saying it is a safety issue because he is on street tires right now.

I absolutely slaughtered the C5Z, freight trained him if you will... I don't have to make it any more impressive the video will speak for itself. The owner of the Z apologized to me for wasting my gas.

Yea, I knew the outcome but I wanted to race something just for the hell of it, I drove an hour to do some racing and wasn't going home empty. LOL
No call outs... They are from a bigger town about an hour away. I went up and had met the owner of the C5Z years ago at an old spot and we raced his Z28 in my buddies car.
We were standing around and I asked him to run and he said sure. The Supra owner saw how hard I pulled the Zo6 (marginally
) and said he wanted to run me that he thought it would be a good race. I agreed knowing I would get pulled but wanted to see how far behind I am from their fastest. The Supra? I have no clue... I will ask him.
The Supra is 74XRwhp... The SRT-4 IIRC they said was around 700Rwhp, it wasn't there tonight though. They are about neck and neck, it comes down to whoever gets the better hit.
There was a 517Rwhp 300Z that they were trying to get to come up tonight but he never showed. I was really wanting to run him pretty bad. I'll probably get hooked up with him next weekend. I think I will pull him 2 lengths or so but IDK.
I raced the Supra.. It was nowhere near as bad as I thought. He was on street tires so obviously traction was extremely limited. Car does roll out hard though! When he hooks it turns the tables fast! With a set of DRs it will be a different animal.
Two 40 rolls... I jumped out just a tad and held him off until around 80 or so... I came around me and put about 3-4 on me until 130 or so. He let me take the hit on one and it took him closer to 100 to come around.
Three 20 rolls.. First one he spun terrible, I jumped out a few cars.. I let out around 110 and he was still a car or so behind but gaining.
The next two were similar outcomes.. I jumped out around 2 cars and held him off until 100 or so and he came around me and put about 2-3 on me maybe until we let out.
I figured why not see what it has when it hooks.. We went from a 60 and he pulled roughly 5 lengths or so... I let out at 135-140mph. It was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.
I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
He is getting DRs so he can do the low rolls/digs and I'm hooking a kit up so I can be a contender at the higher mph rolls.
The Cobra never showed but I did find out he lost to the red C5Z I raced the other night so it would have been incredibly ugly, everyone decided it wasn't really worth the run.
I'll have video of everything as soon as they get on the ball.
